preacher4truth accused me of being lonestar26 and freenchrist separately and then at the same time, he relented to one of his own but has never apologized to me.

since when does perfection need to apologize?

I've seen enough of his posts to know he never apologizes even though he trips over his own feet on a regular basis and a number of people have said he should apologize

when you adhere to a doctrine that leaves out half the counsel of scripture, I think it 'does things to your mind' and you cannot take any sort of criticism let alone acknowledging that you have made a boo boo

I don't think it is right to gang up on people in the forum, but when one individual (there are several here that fit the bill) swing at people, display arrogance, pride and belligerence and call names if you disagree with the display of their 'knowledge', it is fitting to call their attention to their behavior.

he is very good at inserting his beliefs into any thread whether or not it has anything to do with his favorite topic

must get lonely in the basement

Well forgive him and move on... he probably forgot to take his meds er somethin

isn't it fitting when someone displays the name CHRISTIAN all over the place and yet their behavior is sadly lacking in the simplest of Christian behavior, to say something about it?

people should acknowledge when they accuse others falsely. would probably make up half the threads in here LOL!

funny gif btw

God is immutable and changes not. Now, if He loves everyone, that love is unchangeable, seeing He is immutable. You're saying God loves everyone w/o exception. If He loves everyone w/o exception, then His everlasting love is extended to them still, while in hell.
If you think that makes him love them any less.. It would still be wrong

He gave his life for them,,

If my child commits a sin and is sent to a life sentence, It does not mean I love then less. It means I can never have a relationship I desire to have with them ever again..

Yes, and those that are falsely accused should do what the Lord does... forgive

I used to get caught up in that, worried 'bout what people be sayin 'bout me... now, I don't care what they say cause if it's not God's Word it ain't true so why get all bent out of shape cause the devil be lying again???

They can talk about my momma an them... I don't care.

Jesus didn't care either so we should act like Him!

that's not really what the Bible says now

when a Christian has 'something' against another, they go to that person and then to the elders if that person won't listen and then it is made public if they still won't listen

while this is not a church, I think proper comportment is tantamount to a Christian witness

when a person has no desire to even address their behavior that is consistently addressed, I think of less of anything else they have to say and from what I read here, so does everyone else

Jesus did care about what people said or He would never have addressed the religious leaders as vipers and so on

seems you may need to refresh yourself in the word some

Christianity is not a free for all and we are responsible for our interactions. you seem to make light of something this is actually a major contention on these boards; a lack of respect for other members

it is one thing to be falsely accused by an unbeliever. in fact, we expect it. however, one who goes by the name of Christ should exhibit behavior that is Christlike, not demi-god like

Ultimately you cannot control others... so the bottom line is we need to forgive others as this is the only real option we have sometime when others refuse to be led by the Spirit and adhere to the Word of God.

Those that do not forgive others will be turned over to the tormentors according to Jesus.

I ain't puttin up with demons, so I'm going to forgive regardless of what others say or do to me.

I hope those that refuse to forgive enjoy their personal devils!

I am sure the offended is mature enough to move on. However, I am wondering what your reason is for harping on such a simple thing and ignoring what scripture states?

people need to control themselves. no one is trying to control anyone.

apparently, you may never have come across the need to approach a brother or sister in Christ with a desire that they correct their sinful behavior? real relationships are not based on ignoring what we do not like. that, just makes for bigger problems down the road

part of the problem with many Christians is that they are afraid to take a stand for what is right and it is as simple as not accepting sinful behavior FROM another Christian

you can continue to post, but I am clear on the subject as are others

you seem to have a tendency to need to retort rather than try to understand.

It's strange but for some ungodly reason we "Christians" think that we have the right to insult and de-mean and slander publicly everyone else that views a subject differently then "I and my group" does.

Certainly we can just agree to disagree without all the insults and slandering that goes on. At some point we need to grow up in the Lord. Peter talks about the bad behavior towards others in the body of Christ that shows our true age in the Lord. 1 Peter 2:1

The world can see this hypocrisy and unfortunately Gandhi voiced in here in his infamous quote:

yeah

and Gandhi was no pillar of virtue for sure, which just goes to show the world will take whatever we give it and throw it at us

the entire New Testament tells us how to behave and it does not include the insults etc that are a common feature here but you can see where they get it when you see all the heretic sites as I have seen you do in some of your posts

it's really unbelievable. I had read there were over 30,000 'Christian' groups splinter groups or denoms heralding themselves as the way, the truth and the life, but it seems that may be conservative

check out this blog if you want

from the blog:

  • World Christian Encyclopedia (David A. Barrett; Oxford University Press, 1982) apparently estimated almost 21,000 denominations, and the updated World Christian Encyclopedia (Barrett, Kurian, Johnson; Oxford Univ Press, 2nd edition, 2001) estimated at least 33,000. “Denomination” is defined as “an organised christian group within a country”.
  • The Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary estimated 34,000 denominations in 2000, rising to an estimated 43,000 in 2012. These numbers have exploded from 1,600 in the year 1900.

Wow!...that is a lot.

Everyone is a heretic to someone else that believes differently then "they" do. There are websites dedicated to everyone that is known in Christian circles and each one of them is a heretic to someone else.

There are websites dedicated to the "heresies" of Billy Graham, Billy Sunday, Charles Stanley, C.S. Lewis, Paul Washer, John McArthur, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, R.C Sproul, John Calvin, Martin Luther - basically anyone that is well known has a website against them and their "heresies" in someone else's eyes.

There are even heretic websites to the apostle Paul because his letters "conflicted" with what they "interpret" Jesus said in the 4 gospels.

All this because it is usually based on some minor thing like - how they view healing, whether man has a free will to choose salvation, are our sins really forgiven in Christ? Does God want us to be blessed so that we can be a blessing? How they view the last days...etc.

For some reason we now because of a difference of opinion on some of these things we feel it is our "Christian duty" to publicly insult and de-mean and slander others in the body of Christ.

We think we are "defending the faith or defending the word of truth" and of course they are all "rightly dividing the word of truth" in our own minds.

In reality most of us are just defending our own beliefs and church traditions and teachings taught to us which may be or may not be entirely accurate.

None of us know everything there is to know about a subject or truth. Paul says "Those who think they know something, don't know it as they ought to." We need each other in the body of Christ and we all have a part to play.

Where we don't compromise is on who Jesus is and that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ's work on the cross and resurrection.

He is the Savior of the world - especially of believers as Paul says in 1 Tim. 4:10. Jesus has saved us from our sins. Thank you Jesus. As we have received Him so we walk in Him - by grace through faith. He will be faithful to all of us!

I just typed myself happy!...:D

that is all that really makes a person a Christian. you can die happy with that right there. we are all suspended like the thief on the cross with no hope except mercy from the One who can actually forgive and wash the sin away and remember them no more

you seem to have a tendency to need to retort rather than try to understand.
And the only exercise some people get is jumping to conclusions and running down their neighbors.

You keep opposing the forgiveness thing so I kept answering your opposition.

You can move on now if you have forgiven whoever did you dirty.

and apologize like a Christian when you are found to be in error or caught in a false accusation
You cannot control others so forgive and let it go without expecting others to apologize for their dirty deeds.

Like you know, mind yo'own bidness and let the other guy mind his... if someone keeps doing you dirty then don't hang around them.

and unfortunately Gandhi voiced in here in his infamous quote
Who care what some false teacher thinks? I guess a mother teresa catholik quote is coming next...

Hypocrisy at it's finest.
rockrz is quite immature, doesn't offer anything for a profitable engagement, so I don't bother with him.

Let's see, lonerstar joins right about the time fnc and his other moniker went into attack mode, and of the first posts of loneerstar since joining on the 8th, he seeks out my post and goes into attack mode. I can put 2 and 2 together. Funny thing about that is Depleted decided to meddle in that too, and told me he has been around here a long while. Then I pointed out his join date. But meddlers have to meddle and talk when they are clueless as to what they'r talking about.

Anyhow, lonerstar is someone else on here, the timing, the first posts aren't just coincidental, so someone on here has made a new moniker to help lend support to their other moniker in their endeavor to come after me. LOL!!!!!!!!! It is actually hilarious! :)

I wish I would have saved where we caught the two different names being the same person as it was undeniable. The one responded to a post personally that wasn't directed at him as if it was him. Same age, new join date.
