Its kind of scary, to think that in some ways what you teach can effect the lives of others on an eternal scale. I was having a discussion with someone about repentance and they told me that I always revert to OSAS, and then they did a little play (jokingly) of them standing before God while I was already saved watching, them saying, "But Lord, I believe in Ben's OSAS!" They, of course, being someone that I love.
This somewhat pierced my heart. It is important that we know what we are teaching is absolutely correct, especially on such matters of salvation. Even on other things that can effect rewards at the judgement seat. I guess, for whatever reason, this acting out of the judgement kind of really put things into perspective in terms of the responsibility that teachers have.
How much of what we believe to be true are we so adamant to share? I suppose we must rely upon the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, another area of faith. Yes, and He is faithful. I just am thinking that we must do our due diligence.
