He also commited mass murder too.
When wiping out evil people hell bent on the destruction of God's people... that in and of itself is not murder.
If it were, then God Himself is a murder cause in other situations He has wiped out a lot of folks just to protect His people which is a righteous thing for Him to do as He swore to bless and protect His people... which is applicable to Christians who know their rights as seed of Abraham
Galatians 3:29
if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
but i thought God wanted samsom to break the pillars knowing what would happen
which was why he gave him the strength again
Good point... God did in fact give Samson his strength back.
Yes, God does frequently work thru people to do His will.
which is a mental state where one does not think rightly
And, WHO is responsible for that person being in that condition?
God's Word says man is without excuse and we reap what we sow... so ultimately each person gets in trouble as they reject the Lord or choose to believe He exists (giving lip service, claiming to be a believer) but chooses to not walk with God and walks after the flesh instead which is how they reap corruption. (Gal 6:7,8)
The majority of those who fail at a proper attempt at suicide often report that they wished they had not tried immediately after they lept form a bridge or turned the wheel of the car etc. So they were clearly not in their right mind and I suspect this is the work of the Devil
And, Jesus said "these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils" (Mark 16:17-18)
Not sure about everyone else, but I'm going to cast the devil out along with every high thing that exalts itself against he knowledge of God:
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds )
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
This is Christianity 101... listen to God, don't listen to the devil.
I am not convinced that suicide is a direct key to hell, far from it. However that is for my Loving caring and merciful God to decide
It's impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18), so why is it a problem to simply believe what God says???
1 Corinthians 3:17
If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him
Are we treating God's Word like a buffet line... picking and choosing what we want to believe and deciding to not believe some things God says???
That's why many Christians have so many problems and are not living as overcommers... they don't believe what God says is true.
In answer to the OP..... Hell....? No.
Excellent example of choosing to NOT believe what God says... and opposing what God said due to being emotional over not wanting to think someone would go to hell after whacking themselves due to being depressed.
I don't enjoy that thought either, but I'm certainly not going to accuse God of lying in His Word just cause I don't like the idea of someone going to hell... this is how people start believing in universalism too.
