A personal faith when grounded in truth doesn't need the approval of others or their opinions, yes, RG, You are right. But, when seeking to know the will of God, its good to have confirmation, and my understanding of scripture would be through a Prophet.
then why did you post, about others opinion. yet cannot understand, what the meaning of righteousness is.

Romans 8.2
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

The Law of Christ is the 2 commandments he gave us...we have an obligation to follow those 2 commandments...

Gal 6:2 Practice carrying each other's burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of the Messiah.

Looking at the Greek, I get a picture of someone under a heavy burden or weight. Like sin consciousness will produce in one rather than righteousness thinking. So in meekness of spirit and much patience, teach truth. Help lift the weight off. That's looking at the preceding scriptures.

Am sure this this can be applied to many situations and is a way of fulfilling the commandment of love. Yes.

.17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

to be in a rite stand with god,

never took an action
why do you pray, why do you read the bible. why are you still looking for god. etc

if seek first his kingdom, the righteousness will be added to you or you already have been given righteousness
the day you first believed.

if you already have a correct standing, dose a child of god ,need to grow. or keep wining about something , it never understood, the first day, it became a child.
We are immature when first born again. We do grow, and we may whine. Babies cry. Toddlers fall, young men overcoming the lust of the world Spirit, and then fathers with ability to teach.

Is this what you mean?

When I was a kid I'd ask my dad where my mom was if she was out and about chatting with the neighbours.

He'd say "she ran off with the milkman" - I hated that...

If any of these people are in this forum please give the names of these people so I can engage them in discussion about how "God credits righteousness apart from works." (Romans 4:6 NIV).
I am hoping that others have disciples them since I read their posts and no longer believe it. If I read some one posts a works based salvation false gospel can link the thread and suggest folks try and disciple the person with love and biblical wisdom.

I have found different people connect and are able to speak to different people. Which is good as long as we all strive to teach biblical truths and point people to God and His wisdom.

Personally I believe the best thing to teach a new Christian is how to pray from the heart and how to listen and recognize God's answer. The first involves honesty and the second involves maturity to discern the difference between good and evil.

It's not about being nice. It's not about outward obedience to law. It's about being One with God. Hearing His Voice, and being Spirit not flesh.

Theres' a lot of confusion now for something so simple. Holiness is our cry...we thirst for righteousness, and desire to be Holy as He is.....because we are now like Him.

Too much being said about outward obedience or self power. Will get no rewards for any work from that.

take what i said in context to the underline part.

you already have a direct line to god, to grow at your pace. without the law condemning you again.

just cause, you read a law was given to moses, to form a jewish belief system.

jesus form a christian belief system,
abundance of(his) grace and the free gift of (HIS)righteousness

to grow. etc

you would need a definition, to what love is.

if opinion and IQ s are equal , when dose it come close to difinition, of a saviour love , that treats all the same.

if greek wording, was needed to receive a saviour.

then the bible would not have been translated into different lingo s.

Like sin consciousness ,will produce in one rather than righteousness thinking.

to form a right or wrong idea.
(you would need to be taught, ) holy spirit. etc

one would first, ask what, is a sin
consciousness.

Death in Adam, Life in Christ
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned---13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

if you were born into the world, as a baby, you were born, into a new covenant.(just never understood it yet)

if all fall short, so will your human instructor, trying to explain what jesus already done for you.

as an adult, i can only grow to the level god will teach me to. etc

It took reading your posts over and over to understand. At least I think I do.

We are the righteousness ness of God in Christ Jesus, true. It is freely given or imputed to us when we believe.

But, we aren't complete and won't be until we are with Him. What I am saying, is that it's the work of Holy Spirit together in our spirit, to bring us to a place where we experience living and moving and having our being with Him. We don't even have any idea of what His entire plan is for us when we are first born again.

The idea of wanting to sin while in union with Jesus, knowing He is the same as Father, Holy, yet so full of love is erroneous; because we aren't the same as we were before being born again.

Our flesh life and wanting our own way, we can see through time and experiences of life, is not pleasing, and we desire to be like Him.

Everything we have in order to live a godly life is given at first, true. Being formed into His image is a process.

I believe God is more merciful than people want to credit to Him. He has to be or He would wipe us out for the things being said and done all over the world.

Hope this helps.

then why did you post, about others opinion. yet cannot understand, what the meaning of righteousness is.
Alack of believing the Word is what causes us to not get what righteousness actually is

i john 3:Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

apparently John had the " right and wrong mindset" regarding what we actually do whether right, or wrong. to say im righteous is one thing, what We do is what defines that righteousness. truly its a free gift, meant for us to excercise and live and walk in, doing the right, and casting the wrong away.

if i steal from you, i have sinned, if i offer help to you in your time of need ive acted in righteousness. if i lie to you, I have sinned, If i speak the truth to you, im acting in righteousness. If I tell someone I saw you steal something, when you did not steal it, i have born false witness against you and have sinned. if i say " I didnt see anyone steal anything" I have acted in righteousness.

If I covet your wife or possessions that leads to envy, I have sinned, If I have no desire for your wife and possessions, am Happy for your success, I am acting in righteousness. if i sleep with your wife while you are at work, or cheat with another woman when im married, ive commited adultery and Have sinned. If I am faithful to my Wife, and if im unmarried and refuse to sleep with another mans wife, I have acted in righteousness.

No matter How we try to explain it it remains the same. If I am acting according to what God said is right I am righteous, if i act in the things He said is Sin, I am sinning.

surely Christ Gave us righteousness, for He gave us the holy spirit. the error is trying to make what we actually do, meaningless, Christ made us able, thats How He has given the gift of Righteousness. the power to act according to the ways of God. at the same time, when we sin, we Have an advocate , interceeding for us. we have been given all we need already. our place is to grow in it and practice in it, repent of the sin, and follow the gift of righteousness. righteous is, as righteous does. not what we have done in the past, what we do today, tomorrow and always Having been given that Gift. His righteousness is real, tangible it changes us if we allow it to do so, but always, it is our place to act in the things of God and not try to change what things are.

You misunderstand or maybe I didn't explain adequately. A sin consciousness or thinking we are sinners, keeps our mind focused on sin and we constantly are at war with our flesh,or our human nature.

I think we all are this way until we realize we are not sinners, but righteous in His sight. This relieves us from that battle, and we rest in His complete victory.

Love doesn't teach we are sinners but precious children to Father. Wipes out the OT fear of God, as in terror, and gives us the right kind of reverence fear for God.

Salvation is a process, and none of us have the same time table of its working out in our life.
