And we know that all things work together for good (but only if certain conditions are met) to them who love God ( the first condition), to them who are the called according to His purpose (this means it's "His purpose, and not ours," which is the second condition; otherwise, all things will not work together for our good). The thing about false teachers is that they skirt so close to the truth, that you almost fall for their deception. But when you look at Scripture and compare their words, you can tell that they are misleading people, either for gain, or for popularity, or for any number of base motives. True preachers will never be popular today.
