Having lived in Israel, I am personally familiar with the situation in Jerusalem, and the "times of the Gentiles" are far from over.

As for the rest of your post, it is not good for me, for me, to ramble on about what Daniel's Book may or may not mean since the understanding is yet to be given to all who believe.
I just wanted to talk and learn something,

I thought that I would ask someone who would know.

sorry to bother you.

Forgive me if you take it that way. My attitude istowards myself. I feel I treat prophecy lightly when asked to try to interpret more than what appears obvious. I figure if Daniel did not know, who am I

I just wanted to talk and learn something,

I thought that I would ask someone who would know.

sorry to bother you.

Good move by this president to declare Jerusalem as Israel's capitol. Long overdue.

Well, they do not accept you as a Christian, unless you are Roman Catholic.

Otherwise you are a harlot.

Centuries ago they would have killed you if you didn't swear to the "holy father", Bishop of Rome, and the RCC.

Just having a Bible would get you killed.

They don't recognize you as a Christian.

Go to Ireland. Europe. See what a difference it can be, sometimes, and I suppose that Christians who want peace, would agree, but for centuries, it has not been that way.

Our eyes must look at the world with history, because the future will be shaped by that history.

The future of Jerusalem, will be shaped by the history of Jerusalem.

New Jerusalem will indeed descend from Heaven, but will hover over the earth and give light to the earth. It will NOT literally come down to the earth, since New Jerusalem is actually the size of a continent, and far greater than any continent because of its dimensions -- 1500 cubic miles (since it is a cube, similar to the Holy of Holies, which was also a cube).
Not sure I understand the bold part to your post

Rev 21:1-3

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

Are you saying New Jerusalem will hover over the new or old earth?

1. We should STOP confusing Jerusalem on earth with the heavenly city New Jerusalem.

2. At the present time Israel is in UNBELIEF, therefore earthly Jerusalem is in BONDAGE, and is being trodden down by the Gentiles.

3. After the second coming of Christ Jerusalem on earth will be REDEEMED AND RESTORED so that God can dwell in Jerusalem as He has said He will. There will be a pure, undefiled temple in Jerusalem at that time.

4. The New Jerusalem is not a little city but a huge continent to house all the saints of God. There is no way that it can be a replacement for Jerusalem on earth.

And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. (Rev 21:16).

12,000 furlongs = 1,500 miles

LENGTH = 1,500 MILES

BREADTH = 1,500 MILES

HEIGHT = 1,500 MILES

So the heavenly city is a PERFECT CUBE the size of a continent, and with a cubic capacity that is unimaginable.
you seem to be using present earth dimensions to add validity to your comments. The Bible does not say how big the new earth is, so why are you going off the reservation on this?

You seem to also be stating New Jerusalem comes on the old earth, not so, the old earth passes away the new earth and new heaven manifest then the new Jesursalem comes down from heaven.

I'm sorry but it seems that you did not read my post properly. I did NOT give the dimensions of the new earth, but the dimensions of the NEW JERUSALEM, which are plainly stated in Scripture. 12,000 furlongs = 1,500 miles.
You seem to also be stating New Jerusalem comes on the old earth, not so, the old earth passes away the new earth and new heaven manifest then the new Jesursalem comes down from heaven.
Again you could have read my previous post on this subject, since that is definitely not what I said. The New Jerusalem will give light to the earth and its inhabitants when there will be no sun or moon. Therefore it will hover as a heavenly body over the earth, and NOT come down to earth itself. As mentioned, it is the size of a continent, with the cubic capacity of multiple continents.

Would Pope Francis even be a Christian if he did not want to oppose Trump at every turn?
The pope is not Christian,he's Catholic. And no,opposing Trump doesn't make you Christian. Plenty of Christians support Trump because of his stand on certain issues.

All of these are the enemies of God, Christ, and the Jews. But what about Pope Francis, who has jumped on the same bandwagon and wants to oppose Trump at every opportunity? Draw your own conclusions.
hehe, the dirty laundry list is much too long for me to remember all the culprits...yeah, him too.

I support Israel and President Trump's decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem.

But I have never been able to accept modern day Israel as truly Jewish.

I have asked the question, "Would Jesus accept modern day Jews as truly Jewish when He would not accept Samaritans as anything other then half-breeds themselves?" If those of mixed blood then were not Jewish how can anyone today meet His standard? I have received little response.

It seems modern day Israel is Jewish in name only.

Hello all!

Good Sabbath if today is yours.

To those who are not so familiar with the Holy Scriptures. Understand, anything occurring yet in this age in Israel is but the precursor to the true Israel with its capital, New Jerusalem come down from God.

Any who would like to understand the situation best might read Daniel and Revelation. That is not a lot of reading, and it is
filled with Light.

God bless all in J3esus Christ, and all who will come to Him, amen.
Me thinks you may need to read it for yourself. We !!!!!!!KNOW!!!!!!!that the NEW Jerusalem will come down out of Heaven on a NEW EARTH and HEAVEN. Whether there will be nations and whether they are all called by name is only speculation. We will have bodies of Light (same as Jesus) so what would the NEW Earth look like.

Having said that, Israel will be the Nation that all Nations are ruled through by Jesus Christ during the Millennium.

There are two end time church that Christ find no fault with when he returns, Rev.2:10 and Rev.3:10, they both teach about those that call themselves Jews but are not, Jesus said you are of your father the devil and they are, there descendants of Cain, kenites, the tribe of Judah is Germany, these kenite also run the US Gov. today, they own the federal bank that Gov. borrow from. if your interested i could tell you who those two churches are, if you don't study from one of those two churches your being deceived. God bless

I have noticed you tend dto go off on just about anyone with whom you are not given to understand. There are levels of understanding abut what is occurring in Jerusalem, Israel. My first thought is to Father, They will be done.

Then by the Holy Scriptures according to the Holy Spirit which tells me not to stand clapping my hands that God's will be done just for me, but to wait on Him. It seems by certain developments according to His Word, some are occurring.

Before it was Jerusalem, it was called Urshalaim inhabited by the Jebusites.

Urushalaim or Urusaem is City of Peae.

When the Father chose it for His purposes it became Yahursalem, or Jerusalem...City of Yahweh's Peace.

The Jerusalem of this age , again, is the bond servant, while our Jerusalem is truly free.

That is only the second time ive heard this, how did you come by such knowledge?

Yes, these are the earthly dimensions that were clearly stated in scripture. A furlong is an 8th of a mile. 12,000 (furlongs) / 8 (furlongs per mile) = 1,500 miles per length, breadth, height.

While I try not to, I do at times go off on some when they are trying to pass something false by everyone. Again you did it again. you said "There are levels of understanding abut what is occurring in Jerusalem, Israel" What does this mean?

We know more about the coming of our Lord and the end times then we know about any other part of it... Revelation and other prophecies in the OT and NT tell us exactly what will happen. If you are disputing this, then you need to step up and provide the proof instead of using platitudes.

This is derived from the Word and Hebrew study. Also in the 1960's I would read about the Word in encyclopedias, the Britannica, the Americana, Collier's, Hebraic and Judaic. The Hebraic was not quite completed but references were made to what it contained, or would contain.

Most seem to be deriving their knowledge of events with eyes of flesh only in this thread, even worse eyes of flesh in people wanting their own power and glory.

Seeing the events from the understanding given by the Holy Spirit from the Word brightens the path.

God is not a man that He is to be perfectly understood in the flesh, I have in the past learned many lessons from one word or text. I believe all who believe experience this throughtout their reading. I could be wrong, but one thing I can tell you, what I post has not been false, a lie.

Thank you for your consideration. God bless you with His wisdom and understanding.
