They see God not securing salvation for his people, Matthew 1:21, but only securing a chance to be saved. Wow. Total ignorance! He saved no one, he only offered an opportunity. Lol!
Nope God secured salvation for all people.

But he will not force anyone to take it.

But you think otherwise. So feel free. And good luck with that.

But the Holy Spirit is not acting like a human spirit. Man's spirit is born dead in sin, and to liken the Holy Spirit to that is utter blasphemy. Why is he allowed to do that?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?
She's not going to defend God's honor, she's too busy defending the errors of her false teaching friend EG. That is more important to her even when what he said is grave error. I mean should we expect better when they both attack the Gospel as well?

Well culpable was perhaps not the most appropriate word.

He gives repentance only to some, if you cannot see the problem with that, I really do not know what to say.

I know the line of thinking He is God and He can do what He wants.

The opportunity is extended to all but only some will respond with action that is what scripture shows over and over again.

God is culpable to no man. Remember, God is not beholden to any man, yet, He sent His Son to die for a # that no man can #. That's grace, that's unmerited favour.

God did not have to save anyone, yet He chose a # that no man can #, gave them to His Son to be their Surety. He saw they had no way to get back to Him, so He sent His Son to die to make the way for them a reality, not an opportunity.

it is a fear. A fear of taking any credit.

Even though neither your or I can take credit. All the glory goes to God. They think we can take credit. For what? Giving it all too God??

Thank you for acknowledging this.

He did not have to offer it to anyone, my Sister, yet He will have saved a # of rebellious, God-haters, that no man can #, and you take umbrage with that?

I know the line of thinking He is God and He can do what He wants.
He does as He pleases. He is God and we are not. Yet, everything He does is good. Even casting God-hating ppl into hell is good. I do not understand that, meaning I do not know from my finite mind how that is good, yet all that He does is good, so then that is good, too, according to Him.

The opportunity is extended to all but only some will respond with action that is what scripture shows over and over again.
Well, the OT is chocked full of ppl God never extended grace to. He left the Egyptians, Assyrians, Philistines, Jebusites, Hivtes, Hittites, et al, w/o a sacrificial system to atone for their sins.

The Levitical scapegoat in Leviticus 16 was for all the sins and iniquities of Israel. It did not include those nations I previously mentioned sins when it carried Israel's sins into the wilderness.

EG,

It would seem that this doctrine is so airtight that if one dares question any of it they must be ignorant (lack knowledge).

There is some irony in there I am sure.

There he goes again, Attack attack attack.

everyone who disagrees with him is ignorant. SMH

Amen God does what he pleases. And does his will.

What is his will?

lets let Jesus respond to this,. So you can not say EG said it.

John 6: For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

It is his will that everyone who sees and believes. PERIOD!! And that God will not lose anyone. And he predestined based on this FACT!

sadly, If your doctrine is so airtight, you would not have to attack anyone who disagrees with it, the doctrine could stand on its own.

Wrong, Your belief TAKES glory from God.

My belief gives glory to God. Because he offered eternal life to all who went to hell. It is not his fault they went there. You have them UNABLE to believe Because God KEPT THE TRUTH from them/

I thought EG usually bows out of these types of discussions? Yet I see post after post from him. I can not read them but I can see where he has posted them.

Yep he usually does, But he got sick of people attacking people who disagree with them/

And if it gives a portion to man it is error. There is no boasting. Biblically this means man gets no credit. John 6:63. These are set day and night online to secure to man some of God's glory.

In the New Covenant God is not willing that any should perish.

I do understand what you saying below in the OT, however, God is just, He does not choose some to give repentance to (meaning He changes their mind for them) and not others thereby denying them any opportunity to be saved.

Thank you for acknowledging this.

He forgot one aspect of Gods grace.

He told abraham his family would have to wait because the sin of the amorite was not yet complete. (400 years)

God showed great grace in the OT, Many Egyptians left with the children of Isreal.

God did not punish Isreal immediately when they sinned, he showed massive grace, usually generations.

oh yeah, Nineah.. Jonah,. Who went AGAINST HIS WILL. But chose to go anyway of his own free will

Not true.

There is no glory to man, it actually exalts God who is Love, it does deny that man is robot, and it affirms that God loves all individuals and desires that none should perish.

He is the same yesterday and today and forever.[Hebrews 13:8]

God chose Israel to be His ppl in the OT. He justly left the others in their fallen state. No other nation did He entrust with the oracles(words) of God.[Romans 3:2] In Deuteronomy we can read “The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.[vss 7,8] No other nation in the OT economy had this spoken to them.

The purpose of this nation was to bring the Messiah into the world, and He would come through the tribe of Judah. This nation was forbidden to marry anyone outside of this nation, seeing that all other nations were nothing more than idolators.

Now that the Messiah has died in the place of His elected ppl, which are now both Jews and Gentiles, God's chosen ppl will now come into the covenant promised via the gospel.

God chose Israel and left the other nations to themselves. He chose His elect and left the others to themselves. He is a particular God to a particular ppl.

But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.[1 Peter 2:9]

Thanks for clarifying the Gospel E.G. I cannot see anywhere where you or I have attacked this?

I have read many of your posts you are a staunch defender of the Gospel, always.

Carry on brother!!;)
