Hello Brother Jackson,

We are in the New Covenant now, why are you talking about Old Covenant?

All scriptures I gave you from the post you quoted are from the New Covenant so I am not sure what you are talking about.

You may need to explain yourself more.
if we oN the new covenant why we talking about sabbath day? Hope you reconsider brother.

Hello Jackson,

Yes we are in the NEW Covenant. God's LAW (10 commandments) are in the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.

The job of God's LAW (10 commandments) is the same in the NEW Covenant as it was in the Old Covenant to give the knowledge of SIN and Righteousness and to lead us to Jesus our Savior.

Please read the scriptures I already send to you are all in the New Covenant

Please read; Hebrews 8:10-12; Matt 22:36-40; Romans 13:10-12; James 2:8-12; Roamans 3:20; 7:7; 3:31; 1 John 3:4; John 14:15; 15:10; Rev 12:17; 14:12; 22:14 etc etc. There is too many scritpures showing God's LAW in the New Covenant...

Hello Brother Jackson my apologies I left out a few scriptures that tie everything together. All of the scriptures provided before are New Testament scriptures and are for the New Covenant.... linking LOVE to LAW. It includes the other scripture I have already posted.

Here let me write out the scriptures for you for easy reading............

These link everything together........

Exekiel 36

25, Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27, And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

34, And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

11, And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

39, And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

20, The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. <Jesus showed him that he may have fulfilled His duty of love to his neighbor but not to God breaking commandment 1 and 2 loving riches more than God>

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (
Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (
Matthew 15:3-9)

Hello Brother Jackson,

All those scriptures posted to you are on the NEW Covenant of LOVE which is the fulfilling of God's LAW written on the heart of those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of GOD. This is the NEW Covenant my friend.

You can choose to BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word or NOT I do not judge you.

Maybe you can spend some time reading and praying about the scriptures just sent to you.

If you KNOWINGLY break any of God's commandments my friend you commit SIN if you do not seek God in REPENTANCE and FORGIVENESS then the wages of SIN is DEATH in the NEW Covenant like it was for breaking any of God's commandments in the OLD Covenant for those who refuse the Gift of God's dear son (The Lamb of God; John 1:29).

Please read also Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27

IN times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Matt 19 is not 10 commandment, there isn't love your neigbors like yourself in old 10 commandment

it more likely detail of new command /love.

rev 14 bless are they that do commandment

it doesn't say old commandment, more likely new command /love because rev is new testament.
You have neither shown nor told us HOW you would LOVE !!!

HOW would you LOVE GOD whom you can not see ? You are just quoting words...NOT showing any actions by which we can SEE your love.

Mat 15v8 This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth and honour me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

What you fail to understand is that the 10 Com are the same in Old and New Testament but the OBServing and KEEping of them has CHanged giving us time to learn and DO them instead of instant punishment by stoning/the letter of the law.
YOU however are still 'hung-up on killing the violaters' which is NOT a NT teaching and you need to come away from that understanding and focus on 'lovingly teaching violaters to do the right thing ...or it will end badly for you !!! because Ultimately there is still a death-penalty for the violaters of God's law if they refuse (as you seem) to be corrected !!!

what about kill murder? and kill adulterer?

Isaiah 58:11-14, "YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it."

Mat 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

John 14:23-24, "יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.”

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."
Yep It is If you are oN O T, It is God law. Why only do uncomplete sabbath law?

How do love is in matt 25

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

luke 10

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
Where a verse that say NT sabbath change must not kill the violators?

All your quotes on 'doing good to neighbour is NT teaching....yet you insist we should kill the violators of the law. That means you are speaking your own death-sentence...for do unto others.....
We are no longer under the 'letter of the law....that's why you or any violater is not killed but patiently instructed by the Word of God if they will hear !!! or they will reap the ultimate consequences.

there are 2 point I like to remind you

1. Love fullfiling the law, that is why all the law is hang to love. Now we are in New law It is love, fullfil or replace the old one
Fulfilling does not mean replacing my friend.

In regards to defining the word translated fulfilling. Here is an excerpt from Thayer's unabridged Lexicon.

1. to make full, to fill, to fill up:
2. to render full

That is how the word in question is understood. If we would look the word up in our Strong's we would see it defined thusly...

G4137 πληρόω pleroo (play-roh'-o) v.
1. to fully, completely fill
2. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow)....

To further emphasize this point here are but a few of the many other places the word is used.

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
(Php 1:11 KJV)

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
(Col 1:9 KJV)

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
(Eph 4:10 KJV)These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
(Joh 15:11 KJV)

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
(2Th 1:11 KJV)

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

I quote a verse that you give
for he that loveth another Hath fulfilled the law.
Let's take a closer look shall we.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled (filled, done, crammed; completed to the uttermost) the law.

For (because) this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if any other commandment (injunction, i.e. an authoritative prescription), it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling (cramming to the uttermost) of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
(Rom 13:8-14 KJV)

Fulfilling is cramming; completing to the uttermost not replacing.
For he that loveth another hath fulfilled (filled, done, crammed; completed to the uttermost) the law.

The Law in verse eight is used in reference to the Ten Commandments. That is why Paul goes on to quote a few of them in verse nine. And thenprecedes on to broader the spectrum by mention any other commandment. That is an injunction given. In other words an authoritative prescription. Hence a commandment. Any commandment in relation to love.

As you know Romans is a letter. So All this is in context to things written in it which were previously establish.

Case and point. GOD has said, "Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (That is, to bring Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes) down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; the Word, the commandments; HIS Statutes manifested in the flesh, our flesh through His flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, in thy heart, and in thy hand: that we may do it; that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach. And that is the Gospel, the Kingdom of GOD (CHRIST) in you. For GOD hath said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." And HE shall be our GOD and we shall be HIS people, for it is GOD that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Christ (the Word, His Commandments, GOD's will) in us the hope of Glory. For without this faith (the Word; HIS Christ; His Commandments; HIS Statutes in our hearts and in our minds) it is impossible to please GOD. This the righteousness of GOD being manifested. The righteousness which is by the Faith of Jesus Christ; into all and upon all them that believe for there is no difference.

The verses in Romans 10:6-8; Deut. 30:11-14 ; Hebrews 8:10,11; Jeremiah 31:33 are all speaking of GOD's gift of enabling us through HIS Spirit to be as HE would have us be. We Fulfill to the uttermost HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes; HIS Word because Christ is now in our hearts and we are one as they are one. Not because of something we do. For it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Please notice that this gift in which is being spoken to the Gentiles in Romans 10 was also spoken to Israel. This Good News; the Gospel was available to us from the beginning of Moses ministry. As Hebrews 4:2 states "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it."
(Heb 4:2 KJV)

But it did not profit many of them because they did not utilize the Faith. Christ; the Word; HIS Commandments. HIS Statutes in their hearts, minds and in their mouths so they could to do it.

So once again we share; let's walk in Faith; the FAITH. And we shall, not fulfill the lust of the flesh, but fulfill the Love of GOD. His Commandment; HIS Statutes; HIS Word. Christ in us the EXPECTATION of GLORY; GOD!

if you fulfilt the law, than you go to heaven. It is new covenant.

it doesn't say If you sabbath keeper fulfilled the law, If you love other is.
The Sabbath is of the Commandments; HIS Statutes; HIS Word; Christ which has been place in our hearts that we do that which has placed there. This is the Gospel. The LORD thy GOD will circumcise thy hearts and the hearts of thy seed. Deut. 30:6

Beez,
re: "In my opinion, you changed this Scripture when you changed (SABBATH DAY(S) <plural>) this to plural. It is not plural."

Other than being a technicality, how does whether or not it's a plural affect the notion that the Sabbath requirement has been rescinded?

I am not asking for advise I am just venting.
I don't want to bog a page down with this. I am just venting.
I find it quite disturbing that we are only given five minutes to edited after we post. I spend time editing prior to posting but there are almost always small littles discrepancies which I have made that I miss. I can live with that. What I find frustrating is that the Vbulletin format utilized here adds a few. So I spend time fixing them and it takes away further editing of my own mistakes. That I might not of missed if I did not have to fix theirs.

Just sayin.....

Merry Christmas everyone! May the LORD our GOD bless us all with birth of HIS Son as we Walk in and through Him.

yes, the Sabbath was one of the commands-given to Israel only. not repeated in the N.T. as a command for believers in Christ. Christianity is not another version of Judaism. it is a completely different thing.

in the Olivent discourse, Matthew quotes Jesus in saying " pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath" Mark says only " pray that your flight will not be in winter". Why? because Matthew was written primarily to Jews, while Mark was written primarily to gentiles, who never had the law.
