This is Paul sharing and encouraging Timothy.
Now if this is opposed, those who oppose it oppose God.

Yes it is easy to ignore God if you want to. But your whole faith rests on
listening to Him and bending your heart to the narrow path.

There is a spiritual war going on, but it is not between people on this thread
it is in you reader and your heart. Will you listen to God or the world?

From your testimony about your childhood it is very disturbed, so it makes me wonder if this

unbelievably abusive such an accusation is.


I cannot conceive literally how you even know Jesus and make such a comparison.
Even worse that those who have no emotional and spiritual discernment would agree with

I read about the reformation, both sides would tell of the horrendous attrocities and evil
they had committed, so people should rise up in revenge and commit such horrible things
against their enemy. 25% of the population of europe died because of such bile as this.


And those who spread such hatred are filled with it, like a stream flowing from their hearts.
I have met people redeemed out of such communities, and I know it destroys generation after
generation of people, and leads to terrorist groups, and murders of innocents. So this is no
minor issue, or passing words about two groups disputing over theology. This is seriously
evil and wrong.


So there is something eating you alive, because nothing else brings this type of language up,
and you are the first I have come across to do such a thing. You really need to repent and
be free, or it will doom your soul forever.

I am not a cult leader, I am not like Jim Jones, I am not leading people
to their forced suicide.

I do know right wing people who are happy to associate people with terrible
crimes, and paint evil were there is none, also tend to deny that which has
clearly happened when it has not.

So that is my question. If you can relate my position to Jim Jones, you
could equally relate the holocaust as not happening.

Now I know exactly what both massacres were and am shocked by both
situations how people deal with them lightly or use them inappropriately.

It is obvious for some even pointing out this reality, and the ramifications
is very difficult. But to suggest I am like Jim Jones is perfectly alright.

That is what happens when people let anger rule their thoughts, they make these mistakes.

DC never even hinted that a certain person was like Jim Jones, He said Jim jones was evil for what he did. And yet people who lead others to hell by their false gospels are even more evil. If people can not open their eyes to try to understand what people are saying, they will continue to make mistakes and continue to hurt their own witness, because they are focused on proving others wrong. And not focused on the things that are true about others.

You're right. Dcon DOES have a motive on this thread. His motive is to show people that their works DO NOT gain them salvation. His motive is also to point out false teachers and teachings when he sees them. And there are many of those on this entire site.

Actually...he was not relating your position to Jim Jones. He was saying that your position is WORSE than what Jim Jones did because to take one away from trust for everything from Gods' hand and to our own attempts to be holy outwardly is with eternal consequences if they don't get back out of that. Of course the people Jim Jones killed faced eternal consequences too, so I didn't think his point was good.
I didn't care for the way he did it, but we each choose our own words.

Now for TT this is me insulting others, while he insults and slanders me at the drop
of a hat. Slightly ironic. And he accuses me of being angry under the surface.

I have seen such feeding frenzies before, when one person appears to a group to
be vulnerable. I wonder why there is so much interest in such a thing. I have never
seen people of the Kingdom behave like this. At least one can know spiritually the
words of God are breaking through.

My feelings are not hurt, but just staggard.
You do not know the territory you are in. There is no excuse to compare
any believer with Jim Jones or to include him in a discussion.
If one does, one is unbelievably insensitive, brain dead, with no heart or
understanding of what social interaction actual is.

For me to have to even defend such a position as I have taken is appaulling and
a deep shame. We are a people of love, truth, gentleness, thinking the
best of others, lifting up that which is praiseworthy.

So in such a situation, I know who understands the things of love and those
