We have mice. Truthfully, we're about to get less mice, because however they get in here, they tend to leave for summer vacation, so we won't have as many for half a year.
We have mouse traps -- the electronic kind because snap traps tend to snap on us, before they ever snap a mouse, and that's painful. I stopped using sticky traps, because have you ever been face to face with a live mouse? They're so cute, so I'm the dumb one, who can't kill them, let them go, so they can return.
But what they leave behind is not cute.
Ever see TV shows where someone is poisoned and the blood comes streaming out of their ears and eyes as they're screaming in agony for full minutes? Yeah, that is what rat poison does, (to people or vermin.) I do not want mice in my house, but I don't want them to die a painful death either.
AND, the critters live in our false ceiling, so we can hear raging mice wars above us.
Can't afford a cat, don't want snakes, can't take care of a dog, so does anyone know a humane way to kill those cute little turdy critters?
