I went to Bible College! Yes I do prophesy. I think you would be amazed how many prophets there are! Alot of people do prophecy in the Pentecostal Church. I'll give prophecy for you!
You will be blessed and God will speak to you if you will hear Him! God loves you! You will be blessed in what you do! God bless! That your prophecy from me!
1) Giving generic, school-taught 'prophecies' is NOT prophesying. 1) Giving a prophecy to someone does NOT make one a prophet; we are ALL called to prophesy, that being to HEAR FROM GOD on behalf of another person.

Unclefester: “Maggie.....why do you doubt that Zone and I are now apostles ?” Because I've met both TRUE prophets and TRUE apostles and they would NEVER carry on as you do.

Zone: “since when don't we just get to DECLARE IT and get some r-e-s-p-e-c-t? WE do not get to decide if we are prophet or apostles. It is a CALLING OF GOD and RECOGNIZED BY YOUR PEERS.

To post #34: GAG ME!!

Zone, you need to believe Jesus died for your sins! Jesus is God in First John! I prophesy that you will not increase! You will not be blessed until you stop posting blasphemies! God can forgive you, but you are sinning! You will not be blessed until you repent and speak good about the Bible. Prophet JonathanBChristian! I prophesy that you will truly take an interest in the prophetic ministry and read books by Mike Bickle, Rick Joyner, Graham Cooke, Cindy Jacobs, Chuck Pierce and Bill Hamon so that you can actually post with intelligence about the prophetic ministry rather than prideful diatribe. No, wait...that is a suggestion!! OR just maybe you've read one?

You went to Bible college? Which one, may I ask? I'd like to look them up and check out their doctrine because there are a LOT of “Bible Colleges” and even theological seminaries out there that do not teach COMPLETE Biblical truth.

I went to Ozark Bible Institute and College. I didn't say I did prophesy from a class! I said I'm a prophet and I do prophesy! It's not taught how to do it. But they do teach Pentecostal doctrine.

Way to stay on topic Zone and others. Please stop using this as a place to troll and argue. Thanks to the few others who tried answering my question.

Although let me say that these bible students claim to not have similar beliefs as JW's, and claim Russell is not truly the founder of the JW's. They have told me that the JW's were formed after Russell's death.

On another note, they justify using a study book called "Studies in the Scriptures" to help them read the bible by saying it's similar to using a teacher or preacher help you study the bible but just recorded in book form.

Jonathan: PROPHETS...those having the gift of the OFFICE of the prophet are called to speak to cities, states and nations, sometimes they speak to individuals, but usually not. IF you really were called to be a PROPHET, you would know this.
Please...No one IS a ministry. They HAVE ministries, or DO ministries, but they, themselves are not the ministry.

You are missing out here...missing the mark of what a true prophet is. Sit under the proven prophetic ministers and read their books and learn...even the prohets in the OT had to go and LeARN from older and more experienced prophets.

I'm not saying that you are not called to be a prophet. I AM saying that if you don't learn about the ministry of the prophet, you will never full fill that destiny if you truly are called that way.

I really don't know where in the Bible I have to talk to thousands of people. The Apostles did preach to thousands of people but the prophets are not said to preach to the thousands!

When the prophets spoke in the OT, it was to kings and rulers of lands or certain people that would have LONG lasting affects on the nations and future generations. THAT type of ministry is that of a PROPHET.
NT prophecy is for the equipping of the church, the BODY can do the will of God. The office of a prophet STILL speaks to the nations or those that will have afffect on the nations and future generations.

That you don't know this dictates your NEED to LEARN. IF you think you don't need to learn, you will not be a Prophet because of an unteachable spirit working against you.

This page includes the "successul apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers" named on the Wagner Leadership Institute's site as those with "proven effectiveness in ministry, communications skills and a recognized anointing for the impartation of ministry skills". Beware of these "Latter Rain" advocates who would lay another foundation than the one already laid in Jesus Christ and the Apostles and Prophets of Scripture!

Do you believe everything you read? The "ARTICLES" are written by cessationists!! You should read Wagner's book "Apostles and Prophets" or Bill Hamon's book on Apostles. Get the thoughts from the people who walk in the anointing rather than nay-sayers who lack both understanding and knowledge on the subject. Wagner addresses the Apostolic reformation, latter rain, the ministries of the apostle and prophet in NT times (included today). If you have not read anything by these people, SO AS TO BE ABLE TO COMPARE IT TO GOD'S WORK AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, you do NOT have the right to discredit them.
