If there was a prophet today, they would stone him or kill him in some way. I believe that such men are called of God to work for the Church and will suffer persecution while everyone else is blessed because of God's work in them. If a true apostle lived today they would kill him. That's what I prophesy.

amazing how people like to ignore scripture....

Jesus is PERFECT NOW. we are becoming perfect in HIM. we are righteous due to HIS imputed Righteousness.

oh how people like to ignore and twist scriptures because it speaks against their sin.

Luke 13
34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly,[f] I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’”[g

fulfillment of His words:

Matthew 21:9
Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “ Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

something to think on:

Revelation 18:23-24
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.

I do not think we worship the same Jesus VW. My Jesus is perfect and sinless and redeemer and savior of the world and My God is as Paul describes Him.

Acts 17
4 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

God does not NEED anything to be perfect.

Who do you believe Jesus is that HE would need us to obtain His perfection?

Are you one with Jesus?

I am.

And I still suffer, and since I am one with Him, He suffers also.

Paul wrote that he was filling up that which was lacking of the sufferings of Jesus Christ. If something is lacking, then it needs to be filled.

We are to be so one with Him and He with us that our imperfection is in reality His imperfection, and why we will be made perfect in Him in that day.

Does this take away from the sinless perfection of Jesus Christ? Heaven forbid. In no way at all.

But He chose to be united with us.

Think before you reject, and ask the Holy Spirit.

Col, 1:24
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, (which is the church) in filling up that which is lacking in Christ's afflictions.
But I imagine that Jesus is the only perfection to step on the earth, and even now He is being perfected by our suffering, as we fill up that which is lacking in Him.

From hustereo; a deficit; specially, poverty -- that which is behind

That which is behind of the afflictions of Christ - I have still some afflictions to pass through before my race of glory be finished; afflictions which fall on me on account of the Gospel; such as Christ bore from the same persecuting people....

....and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh; by which are meant not the afflictions or sufferings of Christ in his own person; for these were all over, he was now entered into his glory, was exalted at the Father's right hand, and was crowned with glory and honour: there was nothing left behind of his sufferings, to be undergone by any of his people; he had drank of the cup and all the dregs of it; he had sustained the whole of his Father's wrath, and all the curses of the law, being abated nothing, but was made perfect through sufferings; having perfectly suffered all, he suffered once and once for all, he will suffer no more; nor is there any need of his suffering more or again, for he has finished sin, wrought righteousness, made peace, and obtained eternal redemption; nor had he any partner in his sufferings, nor did he need any, or left any part of his sufferings to be filled up by others; for he endured all and the whole, which the law and justice of God could require in his own body, in the body of his flesh through death; of these sufferings the apostle does not speak, but of such which he filled up in "his" own "flesh"; and design the afflictions of Christ in his members, which are called "his"...

2 Peter 3
Final Words
14Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. 17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

This is why blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. It is by His living in us that we are made one with Jesus Christ. And because we have the Holy Spirit living in us, we must become holy as He is holy, else we are joining Christ to sin.

Sometimes I despair for you guys. In your arrogance in thinking you have become wise, you do not even know the elementary principles of life in the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.

We are one with Jesus, and in Him one with each other. Unless we are not in Him.

And because of this, everything that happens to one of His is just as it happened to Him. So the next time you feel that you must call a brother a devil or a liar or a demon, just remember that you are also calling the Lord of Glory the same thing.

I hope that we worship the same Jesus, but at times I wonder.

They twist to their own destruction, because they will not even consider that there is suffering that they must endure. And they will not even look at their sin, considering that it is covered in His blood, not knowing that they have made Christ to be a party to their sin.

You make my point for me.

As we are one with Jesus, He endures our suffering even as if it was His suffering. It is His suffering!

You do not know the Lord as you should.
HE SUFFERED ONCE ALREADY FOR US.
IT IS FINISHED.

Does God tell you things and you repeat it or do you just quote the bible?

You do not know me. How could you? You have only scorned and belittled me. Called me vile names. Names I would not call one possessed of the devil on purpose.

You revile the things which you know nothing about.

I never took a stance one way or the other on the rapture. No one asked me.

And you have no idea of suffering yet. I fear that we all are soon to learn.
