You do not know me. How could you? You have only scorned and belittled me. Called me vile names. Names I would not call one possessed of the devil on purpose.

You revile the things which you know nothing about.

I never took a stance one way or the other on the rapture. No one asked me.

And you have no idea of suffering yet. I fear that we all are soon to learn.
i've read all your posts. that's how i know you.
and that's how i know your stance(s) on the rapture and your expression of fear.

don't tell me what's coming: you don't know.
you're making it up as you go along.

see ya...moving on to real teachers and interesting ideas.

definition of suffering: watching people joyfully walk down the road to Hell and away from God.

seems to be a daily, hourly, every moment global current thing... :( :( :(

amazing how people like to ignore scripture....

Jesus is PERFECT NOW. we are becoming perfect in HIM. we are righteous due to HIS imputed Righteousness. God does not NEED anything to be perfect.

Who do you believe Jesus is that HE would need us to obtain His perfection?
AMEN......

I might even go to your church and pray in tongues and interpret, but then again they could agree with denominations when I am through, because they probably don't believe that I should do that there.

Ananda can I be in CHRIST and not be perfect? And if i sin am I perfect? This is the thing, I am not perfect if I sin. No matter how we look at it, sin is the thing that Jesus wants me to STOP! Is it a work to stop sin? NO! actually it is a STOP WORKING SIN! That is all He asks! And to help me HE SEND HIS SPIRIT TO LEAD ME! and if I follow HIM, CARRYING MY CROSS>>DIEING DAILY UNTIL ALL THOSE WORKS AND THOUGHTS OF SIN IS DEAD>>>> THEN I am right there by HIM, and THEN I ENTER INTO THE GATE and THEN i am IN HIM! sinless...AND HE IS MY PERFECTION, BECASUE HIS SPIRIT IS NOW NOT LEADING ME< BUT DRIVING ME! Even when I followed Him IT WAS HIM THAT SAVES ME! Jesus saves me from... SIN, UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, MY OLD SELF, MY FLESH, SATAN, THE POOL OF FIRE, EVIL THOUGHTS AND DEEDS, ALL EVIL! And he savesd me too: HIMSELF, THE NEW ME IS JESUS, THE LORD IN ME AND ME IN THE LORD, TO FATHER, PERFECTION, HOLINESS, NO SIN, DOER OF THE WORD. HIS SALVATION IS COMPLETE PERFECTION, becasue HE IS THE SAVIOUR! Nothing about me. I have to be the one that dies! My only JOB is to DIE! DIE OFF MYSELF! DIE off the SIN I BECAME! A sinner was not born a sinner, he became a sinner, but he can be SAVED, Jesus will take his place to be the perfection God wants him to be. The only way Jesus can do that is that we have to DO WHAT JESUS DID! We have to give our lives TO HIM! We have to die FOR HIS NAME! that means we have to DIE IN JESUS! We do it to KILL EVERY SIN IN US AS JESUS MAKES US KNOWN OF THE SIN! HE TELLS US WHAT TO KILL IN OURSELVES... If Jesus says... COBUS! STOP CHEATING YOUR WIFE, HE WILL NOT SAY ANOTHER THING TO ME AGAIN< BEFORE I STOP! So is it work? Is it under the law? Should I stop? Or did Jesus die for that sin until i die in the arms of anopther man's wife? And then that man goes to hell and me and his wife goes to heaven becasue we know we lived under the grace of the Lord, not under the ...COVET you neighbor's wife... Man this is just crazy! It is ok to sin, we are perfect in Jesus, and He is the sinner in us... This is just crazy! God does not need us to be perfect, HE COMMANDS US TO BE PERFECT BECASUE HE KNEW EVERYONE THAT LOVE GOD WITH THE LOVE GOD HAD PUT IN THAT PERSON, WILL HAVE PERFECT GODLY LOVE IN HIM... Every person that God saved, LACK NOTHING, NOT EVEN FORGIVENESS OF SIN! BECASUE GOD DESTROYED THE WORK OF SATAN FOR THAT PERSON! The heart that had sin in it, now HAS JESUS IN IT!

Cobus:

Hebrews 7:19
(for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

For the law made nothing perfect - The Levitical, ceremonial law. It did not produce a perfect state; it did not do what was desirable to be done for a sinner; see the note on Hebrews 7:11. That Law, as such, did not reconcile man to God; it did not make an atonement: it did not put away guilt; in one word, "it did not restore things to the condition in which they were before the Law was broken and man became a sinner." If man were saved under that system - as many undoubtedly were - it was not in virtue of any intrinsic efficacy which it possessed, but in virtue of that great sacrifice which it typified.

But the bringing in of a better hope did - Margin, "But it was." The correct rendering is, probably, "but there is the bringing in of a better hope, by which we have access to God." The Law could not effect this. It left the conscience guilty, and sin unexpiated. But there is now the introduction of a better system by which we can approach a reconciled God. The "better hope" here refers to the more sure and certain expectation of heaven introduced by the gospel. There is a better foundation for hope; a more certain way of obtaining the divine favor than the Law could furnish.
By the which - By which better hope; that is, by means of the ground of hope furnished by the gospel, to wit, that God is now reconciled. and that we can approach him with the assurance that he is ready to save us. We draw nigh unto God - We have access to him; notes, Romans 5:1-2.

Galatians 2:16
yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified

Galatians 3:16
Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Hebrews 10:38
but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

Hebrews 11:16
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Our sins are forgiven for our sake?

No, for His name's sake, are our sins forgiven.

Im open for someone to explain to explain to me how holding to a belief is worth
more than pleasing the Father. I understand its stubborness, but still a little confused
it must be a judgement, or just a just due reward for a wrong motive, or worst.

i think some people need to do a study between when the Bible says you will be "blameless" and how only Jesus is "sinless"

Luke 1
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless

if we obey Jesus with our whole heart and try our best we will be held BLAMELESS because He will wash away our sins and inquities if we are repentant and obedient. before OT there had to be sacrifice. not NT Jesus is the sacrifice and the Mediator and the Eternal High Priest to bring people into a BLAMELESS state of union with God and His will.

show me where in the Bible it talks about the believer obtaining Sinless perfection in Christ instead of how they who are sinners will be held blameless through the sinless state of Jesus and His sacrifice?

by the way I believe "perfection" can not be obtained in this flesh and only done when Jesus returns and gives us new bodies that do not have the law of sin inherent in our members. Also it can't be done unless the person first have "maturity" in Obedience to Christ where every thought is held captive to the Lord and there are no strongholds in your mind or life that war against the knowledge of God.

John 8:7
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Hebrews 9:6-8
New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance; 8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

if you really want to know how bad a sinner you are you should ask God to show you the sins you have committed in IGNORANCE which you would still be condemned for if Jesus did not die for those sins too.

how can you repent of sins you do not even know you committed? how can you prevent yourself from sinning again if you do not ask God what those sins are?

no you are not perfect yet and you will never be if you think you already are. you will not strive toward the goal but stay in illusions and lies that you are already there, when Paul says even HE had not reached it yet .....

perfection is a level beyond even maturity and complete obedience to Christ. I wish people would stop trying to take shortcuts that will lead them and others to hell.

Philippians 3:13-15
New King James Version (NKJV)

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

ask yourself what had Paul already endured and accomplished when he wrote the letters to the Philippians?

God's plan of salvation is contained in the Bible but most people are suckling babes who have not even drank their milk or read their Bible fully or truly understand what it is to be oracles of God. no they want to be pompous self promoting "prophets" unskilled in the word of Righteousness and unable to discern between good and evil. :(

Hebrews 5:12-15
New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

All I can gether is it is all about show and little about the scriptures.

We all know God can do anything. That doesn't mean he will.

I will say all this stuff has got me studying more and more, yet I still stand by my beliefs. I am stronger in them. Hmmmmmmmmm...where am I going wrong here?

Ananda all answers straight from God's Word...

show me where in the Bible it talks about the believer obtaining Sinless perfection in Christ 1 John 3:9... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

by the way I believe "perfection" can not be obtained in this flesh And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Th 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Jesus returns and gives us new bodies ...Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Even the flesh, in other scripture it is said the flesh are Eph 2 says... We are quickened TOGETHER iwth Christ!...Adam sinned from perfection to sin, Jesus restores the NEW YOU from sin to perfection.... HERE ON EARTH!
Look when we are made perfect by the office bearers even God declares us...A PERFECT MAN! We know that man is Jesus in us! Eph 4:13... UNTO A PERFECT MAN...This man has a new HOLY BODY! It still LOOKS exactly like you, but it can do things it could NEVER do before! It can please God with ALL its works now! Now the obedence to the faith is the HOLY WORK OF GOD! You may be a faith healer or a prohet, or any one of the nine gifts in 1 Cor 12...

Also it can't be done unless the person first have "maturity" in Obedience to Christ where every thought is held captive to the Lord and there are no strongholds in your mind or life that war against the knowledge of God.
Exactly! This is exactly the state Jesus saves you too...HERE!!! Jesus does not save Cobus to be Cobus again, He saves Cobus to be JESUS for HIS glory.
Ananda this is why all the others argue, they reckon Jesus does not do this! He needs not to do this, Yet God send Him to forgive us if all our sin, and also to SEPERATE us from ALL unrighteousness.
Ananda God says this... LITTLE CHILDREN ...Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Any person that does righteousness (God's will) is in God's will as God is in God's will. This we KNOW can only be possible if the fleah obeys God's Spirit 100% all the time! And that is only possible if my flesh is under the control of GOD! And that is how God does it. NOT ME!

John 8:7
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

True nobody was filled with the Holy Spirit then, except of course the flesh that said these words! And this is the exact same IMAGE God leads me too! That was Jesus in the flesh we should be, and can ATTAIN BY OUR OBEDIENCE TO THE LEAD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! Balmeless...but then Jesus died and was resurrected...And he re-appeared in another body... one that can go through walls, One a bit more glorious than the one that hung on the cross. And this is what the APOSTLES and the other recieved on penticost... This is the bodies that can BEAR ALL GOD WANTS IT TO BEAR!... Jesus said to His disciples there are still many things i want to teach you but you cannot bear it yet!!!
The moment they were GLORIFIED by the HOLY SPIRIT ENTERING INTO THEM ON PENTICOST, they recieved ALL THE CONTROL OF GOD! The Holy Spirit TOOK OVER THEIR BODIES...100%.
Paul says he has not attained it yet, and yet Paul said he was crucified with Christ, and only Jesus lives in Him... And Paul says this becasue this is how it happens... Romans 8:11 to 14... But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. ..Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. ... For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We have to mortify the OLD SINNER! We have to die sin off, and we CAN becasue Jesus helps us... Jesus says He was tempted so that He can help us when we are tempted... You think any person can sin when Jesus helps him? I think NOT! BECAUSE JESUS HELPS PERFECTLY!!
ANANDA IF JESUS LIVES IN ME MY FLEASH CANNOT SIN!! EVEN IF IT WANTS TOO< WHICH IT WOULD NOT< IT CANNOT!!!I am not here, I died on the cross with JESUS, I died IN JESUS< and now HE LIVES IN ME!!! That is the GOOD news of the GOSPEL, Jesus still moves in flesh TODAY! And He does this to HIS WILL!!! May the Lord move into Ananda before He moves into me!!! I wich you Jesus ANANDA! And Jesus, I mpresent ANANDA, Lord take HER and do with her THOW WILL! Amen!

Abiding neither you nor I can please the Father God no MAN can please God, but ALL HOLY MEN DO! So we have to be transformed from man that does sin to HOLY MAN. This is a process called SALVATION! And the Saviour is Jesus Christ! The pleasing God part is not when Jesus is busy with us, it is AFTER WE PASSED THROUGH JESUS! So holding a faith has NOTHING to do with Father! holding a faith shows Jesus that we LOVE HIM! You know that thing about ...God looks at us through the blood of Jesus! Well God does not look through Jesus, He looks AT JESUS! If a person tells me that God looks at him through the blood of Jesus, i respond... Go through the blood of Jesus, you are on the wrong side of the cross!

Abiding God calls you, and then He hands you to Jesus! Now you are dirty and Satan has every right to claim you becasue you are his. You chose to sin and he likes it! you sold your soul from the devil, but God bought it back. He did not ask your permission if He can buy it back, HE BOUGHT IT WITH THE BLOOD OF HIS SON!...Because He bought you He will also CLAIM you! Now! this is where you and I are totally opposites... I believe God bought me to change me to LOOK EXACTLY LIKE JESUS! And He will claim me for His Kingdom, HERE ON EARTH!!! God will put me in HIS Kingdom while I am still here on earth! And God will not put me in His Kingdom before HE HAS MADE ME WHAT HE WANTS ME TO BE IN HIS KINGDOM!!! I do not know whether I will be a prophet, or a healer or a faithful person or a pastor or a teacher, all i know is I WILL BE LIKE HIM! Not like me, LIKE HIM. Why because HIS KINGDOM IS HIS KINGDOM NOT MINE! And if I am part of HIS KINGDOM I AM HIS IN TOTALITY!
Becasue God's Kingdom is Holy, and He made me part of His Kingdom, I am holy, and ALL that is Holy is Holy by ONE HOLY SPIRIT! That is GOD!! I am so ONE with God then, that God says... COBUS IS A HOLY MAN. Like in 2 peter 1:21... Holy men of God spoke.
Am I holy? NO!!!!! May God save me! Is Abiding holy, NO!!! May God save him even before me, For GOD'S GLORY and God's kingdom! Amen!

The strongest belief to have is Jesus and the finished work of the cross. I found that if I just stood on my beliefs I was never really opened to being taught. We can study til the second coming and not moved an inch with a closed heart to everything else. Being open doesn't mean one has to agree, but the door is open for the Holy Spirit to correct. Our hearts and mind are guarded by Christ Jesus, hence the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. But how can we ask if we think we already have the answer??? Indeed we might and yet might not have.

Blessings Elizabeth :)

Col, 1:24

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, (which is the church) in filling up that which is lacking in Christ's afflictions.
(Lightfoot) quote - The 'afflictions of Christ' here do not refer to His expiatory sufferings on the cross, but to His sufferings endured in His humiliation prior to that event, sufferings for righteousness sake, suffering incurred through exhausting service, heart-suffering due to the opposition of sinners, sufferings that resulted from persecution, AND FOR TWO REASONS, first because the atonement was a finished work, and second, because the word for 'sufferings' here, thilpsis, is never used of the vicarious sufferings of the Lord Jesus. These suffering occurred during His earthly ministry and were necessarily curtailed by reason of His limited life on earth and needed to be continued in His servants if the work of preaching the Word was to be carried on. Thus, all the saints down the ages are partakers of these sufferings when they are faithful to the obligation of preaching the Word.'

'Fill up' - is antanapleroo, meaning 'to fill up in turn'. The preposition anti signifies that the supply comes from deficiency, thus translated, 'I fill up on my part'. This is demonstrated in (Acts 9:4,5) when the Lord asked Saul, 'Why persecutest thou me?', when the Lord was referring to those of the church, who belonged to Him, had been persecuted by Saul.

But I imagine that Jesus is the only perfection to step on the earth, and even now He is being perfected by our suffering, as we fill up that which is lacking in Him.
Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

This verse is not speaking of Christ being perfected by our sufferings but rather (if anything) that we are being perfected and made mature in Him through the afflictions that come upon us when we take up OUR cross and preach Christ and Him crucified. Christ is perfect and is seated at the right hand of the Father and we are complete in Him (Col 2:10). We are left here on the earth to fill up those afflictions, as doing our part, as we identify with Christ and Him crucified. This is how we get to know Him through the fellowship of His sufferings being made conformable unto His death (Phil 3:10). We should identify these sufferings with the ministry that we have been given here to fulfill and not identify them with the sufferings of His vicarious atonement. Both sufferings involve a cross but our Lord has been resurrected and ascended but we are strangers having no continuing city just yet. We die daily and the sufferings and afflictions associated with that death works in us that the life of Christ might work in others (1Cor 15:31, 2Cor 4:10-12).

Nope sorry bro, Im in the kingdom right now. And by the way i didnt sell my soul to the devil and he never
owned me, that is false doctrine, as well as is the idea that God bought me back from the devil. The fact of whom ever you yield yourselves servants to obey is your master. And when i was dead,
in trespasses and sins i was under his power. But God didnt give the devil squat for me. Jesus paid my debt
to the father, the debt had nothing to do with the devil. The wages of sin is death, that was the debt, i owed the father only, and the Son paid for it.

No you have your way. I aint gona wait. You go ahead. The washing and regeneration is now for me.
Ive been excepted in the beloved, My faith pleases Him now and my trust in Him allows Him to santify me
day after day.
