Video Gamers ignore the Spirit of God.

When they stand before him, he will say to them, ''I never knew you.''

If he showed them their lives, they would see themselves with their earphones on focused on that big bright light of the t.v. than on the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. They will see the Spirit of God calling for them, but they can't hear him, because their ears are covered. Their eyes are not on him, but on their games.

They will see that every day, they don't seek his face, but their video games. They don't glorify him, but their video games. They don't know him at all. All they know is their favorite video game.

Everyone will have to give account for what he or she did in this life. And everyone will have to stand before the throne of judgement. Do you know Jesus? Or do you ignore his Spirit?

Turn from your video games and start OBEYING the Spirit of God, because he will not strive with men forever.

May Jesus bless you.

this isn't true for all video gamers. Don't judge, you don't know what their relationship with God is like.

Don't be prejudice against gamers just because you don't like video games. You have no right to determine someones salvation based on one hobby.

I used to play games all the time. I think in large part it is true. Video games definately unneccesarily distract us from God.

Video Gamers don't have time for God. They have more time for their video games. Hard to have a relationship with God when you video game is your guide and teachers and best friend.

Video gamers talk to their games more than they talk to God. They hear their games more than they hear from God, if they hear from him at all.

I will not judge anyone. God will judge all men. Everyone will have to answer for what they did with their time here on earth.

Will Jesus know you? Or will he say, ''Go away, I never knew you?

May Jesus bless you.

A few times in my teenaged years I asked myself What am I doing? while stoned and playing videos games. 'I shouldn't be here' pressing buttons trying harder and harder to beat the next challenger on Tekken or Soul Calibur. Halo 3 on Legendary did the same to me. I felt as if my focus should be else where. I knew I had to deny myself the pleasures of life. But, I don't do what I want to do, and I do what I don't want to do. It's a struggle. But, it gets easier when change becomes the bigger picture then the tv screen.

Since I play video games and have time for God, your argument is invalid.

Video gamers talk to their games more than they talk to God. They hear their games more than they hear from God, if they hear from him at all.
proof?

Although I will agree that video games are addicting and many people have a hard time pulling away from them, to label everyone who plays video games the way you have (especially when you have no proof) is unChirst-like. We should never judge people we don't know and offer help to the ones with addictions.

Not that all video games are bad, and that it's impossible to discipline, but the more I got to know God, the less video games I played (among other things). I mean, I still play video games now, but not that often. I see the relationship there. And KnightdeKhristos, I'm not sure if you saw this, but what Ramon said applies to a plethora of things (to sum it up in a sentence - the cares of this world).

I would say your right and wrong. You're right because yes video games can distract us from God if not played in moderation. But I play video games for maybe an hour and a half every 2 days, and that in no way encroaches on the time I spend reading and in prayer.

Gardeners ignore the Spirit of God.

When they stand before him, he will say to them, ''I never knew you.''

If he showed them their lives, they would see themselves with their garden tools focused on pretty flowers than on the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. They will see the Spirit of God calling for them, but they can't hear him, because their ears are filled with fertilizer. Their eyes are not on him,but on weeds.

They will see that every day, they don't seek his face, but their green idols. They don't glorify him, but their lawnmower . They don't know him at all. All they know is their favorite brand of weedkiller.

Everyone will have to give account for what he or she did in this life. And everyone will have to stand before the throne of judgement. Do you know Jesus? Or do you ignore his Spirit?

Turn from your garden of sin and start OBEYING the Spirit of God, because he will not strive with men forever.

May Jesus bless you.

Two men will be in the field, one taken and the other left.

Which one will you be?

Ramon, the argument here is you are being prejudice and an extremist. All worldly things distract from God.

A better topic for discussion would be the seeds video games plant; what they glorify, and what they don't.

Yes. I understand the argument.

This, however is the topic. Many people ignore the Holy Ghost for their games. They like the guns and the dances and the sexual immorality in them. They think it is fine. They love fiction, but despise the Truth. Time to be serious about Jesus. No more time for games.

May Jesus bless you.

You could say the same thing about TV, or Movies, or music, or any other type of art or entertainment medium, but I know you and I know you already think that about them.

TBH, your too blinded by religion to even see what's true. Instead of following what Jesus actually taught, you use it as an excuse to nitpick at everything anyone ever does as something evil and wrong. Your always posting some stupid topic about how "this group of people are blind to god" and "such and such people are evil." And on a christian forum too, your always preaching all this sanctimonious stuff at people who would probably already agree with you if you weren't constantly condemning everyone and everything

Maybe one day you'll see religion shouldn't be used as an excuse to hate. But I sincerely doubt it.

Lol I knew YOU would have something to say here, Apoc. :)

Ramon, once again, people are blind sided by worldly things in general. I'm not disagreeing with your logic, but you must understand that there would be another medium to distract from the Word even if video games had never come into existence. As you mentioned already; cell phones, for example.

Minister, don't preach. Draw the line. People do not appreciate you condemning them.

What if someone uses video games to evangelize? Are they still going to Hell?

Using video games to evangelize? Really? Is it just me or does that just sound outright ridiculous?

This may be true. But you are superficially making it up against one group you called "VIDEO GAMERS".
What about tv addicts, hollywood movie watchers, contemporary music listeners, book chart readers, internet junkies and so forth..
