Hi Avinu.
I was thinking about that New Jerusalem 1500 miles high and wide.

That would make it a pyramid shape or a square box shape with twelve pearly gates
That's right brother, a big cube shape, with 12 gates, and 12 foundations. :)

this might be relevant...if the ashkenazic branch of the jewish nation -had actually existed in first century smyrna-

your interpretation is anachronistic
It makes no difference whether there was or not. There are still jews who are not jews.
Reference Romans.

'anti zionism' -is- anti semitism...

how can i tell? it is obvious because 'anti zionism' denies only -one- ethnic group the right to establish an independent state in their ethnic homeland
Ethnic jews all over the world are speaking out
against zionists. Are they anti semites too?

Did you know that the number 12 is used 147 times in the Bible. I think 12 represents authority

I don't know how many believe that the church has replaced Israel, but according to the bible they are and will always be God's chosen people.

Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

Gen. 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee."

Psalm 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee"

What are you thoughts?
I stand with Israel, the country, when Israel obeys the commandments of the Lord.

the difference it makes is that the reference to 'them which say they are jews and are not' obviously was not referring to some gentile ethnic imposters as was being claimed in this thread...

absolutely yes...there is an anti semitic fringe of jews who believe that only their nation out of all the nations in the world should be singled out and refused the right to establish an independent state in their homeland...

you question this as if you think it would be something unprecedented...but throughout history every culture and ethnic group has a fringe that despises their own people... for example read what juvenal wrote about the romans or what boris stomakhin wrote about the russian people... and also during wartime every nation has had its enemy collaborators and double agents...

The 12 foundations could be 12 floors since it is about 600 km high

Eze 36:19 - 38 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them. And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land. But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The above verses tell us that the Jews are gathered back to their lands while in still in disbelief. Their land that had been made desolate would then thrive (and it has, while under Islamic control it was a desert wasteland, now it is flourishing). After they have been regathered they will then recognize the truth. The gathering is still ongoing we are just beginning to see the fig tree start to bud (beginning/middle of the season) we will not see fripe ruit until the end of the season.

I think you have made a mistake

Twelve thousand furlongs = 2414.016 kilometers, which is exactly 1500 miles.

Rv21:16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

The height is equal to the length and breath not the circumference. That means it is about 600 km on each side and that is about the height of it.

Mark 2:22: "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”

Interesting scripture here mentions about establishing a New Covenant, a New Testament church. The Jews were unable to receive Jesus' corrections required so they were about to be made null and void.

(Jeremiah 31:31-34)

God hasn't turned His back on Israel (Romans 11 says their rejection not total or final). They are still His chosen people, they've just been temporarily hardened - Romans 11:25: "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in"

Romans 11:21: "For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either" - we must not boast that we were grafted in and Israel failed.

Although the Jews deny Jesus as their Messiah, there are other religions out there that deny the sufficiency of His sacrifice also, so they are in the same boat, although sad for God as they are His chosen people and they denied Christ.

He says we mustn't be unequally yolked with unbelievers, which includes fellowship/uniting/compromising with those following false doctrines but we should do what we can to share truth and pray they will be saved. I know prophecy says a large number of Jews will be saved in the tribulation, but not all of them. They're not automatically immune because they are His chosen people, they actually have to believe in Jesus Christ as their Messiah.

Just my thoughts anyway :)

You do know when we come to Yeshua, Jesus, we are Israel. He is our King, the King of the Jews, halleluyah and amen!

All of you miss the bigger picture not realizing that the 'houes of Israel' and the 'house of Judah' (from whence the Jews come from) are two distinct houses, so the Jews are only 1/12 of Israel. Jesus was a Jew (which means from the house of Judah), and it was they (the Jews) who rejected Him, as was prophesied; however, since the House of Israe (the Northern Kingdom)l was scattered upon the face of the earth several hundred years before Jesus was born, they were not around to reject Him. Instead, it is written that it is they (the House of Israel) who would accept HIM, but the Jew would not, until Christ returns. If you read Acts you will find that Jesus came only to redeem the 'lost sheep of the house of Israel' (Jer 3::cool:, and by them would the Gentiles be grafted into the Family. He well knew that the Jews woould reject and kill HIM.

For those with a concordance, follow 'house of israel' and 'house of Judah' throughout the Bible, and you will see that what i say is the TRUTH, that the two houses are seperate and distinct, even though together they comprise the Nation Israel (not the country it is today). Furthermore, Ez 37 is the prophesy whereby GOD will reunite these two 'houses' sometime in the future, and they will be ONE in HIS Hand forever.

Very well done my friend. Scripture makes it so easy to see and understand. Why some make it complicated is beyond me. Shalom chever

P.S. Since the Jews are under prophesy by Isaiah (6:9-10) to have eyes that see but cannot perceive, and ears that hear but cannot understand, (meaning GOD has deluded them for a time), have compassion on them.
