Forgive me for offenses.

Forgiven, and forgotten. Please do the same for me if I have offended you in any way.

Anyway, I think I have contributed to enough strife for a lifetime.
I have been blessed by some things here and found other things to be not beneficial.
I apologize for all my part in it.
Please forgive me for getting involved at all.

God Bless and keep you all in the faith we have been given,
Be blessed in all mercies and Gracious kindness in Christ Our LORD.
marianna.
Wait a minute!!!!! Your fine and havnt done anything strifeful.
Your thread gots blitzed by folks who have there own agenda.
The same ones that rush into to any thread possible to prove their point.
Please dont let it go to your heart..it just comes with the territory.
Someone mentioned we pray...amen dont faint...pray.

By the way He saved me too.
Which is a stretch even for divine mercy :)

I was saved by "accident". I didn't know what I was asking. And if I had known I wouldn't have thought myself worthy to ask for it...

Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Gee this sounds real familiar, yup, it sure does. Praise our Maker, He is worthy, we are not............He doesn't care. He loves us anyway.

Strife comes from those who do not understand the cross and have no relationship with our lord through the Spirit and grace of God. They are always laying demands of people to obey or not go against when we are to walk by faith in the Spirit to be quickened by the word and be be filled with the fruit of the Spirit. They make these great boasts in things they know nothing about and will not receive from others the grace and understanding that God has given to them. Your involvement on this site has been a blessing and provides a good balance which we all need. Those that have caused problems for you, I throw a big fat tomato at them...swwoooooshh, in hopes they will wake up and see just how good that tomato is to stir them up in the grace of God and away from their folly.

Marianna, if by some work of the Lord Jesus (miracle :) ) you are reading this, I say my amen! to this.
You are blessed, and a blessing through your knowledge of the Word and the grace of God and your love for the Saints.
Love isn't always pretty...ask any parent. ;)

Salvation is by faith alone. Let each man be rewarding according to his material he uses to build upon the foundation of the Christ. Though he might suffer loss, he will, nonetheless, be saved. Let us all, therefore, build our treasures in Heaven and let God, through the Fire, judge every man's house. As long as Christ and Christ alone is the foundation of what one teaches, seeing that even the Spirit of God points only to Christ, leave that person to his own testimony of salvation and let him teach to the same flock he was once a part of. If one was delivered from trying to obtain their salvation by works, then let that person proclaim to their past flock that works do not obtain salvation. If one was delivered from the influences and/or possession of demons, let that one preach to that sort. If one preaches to those of a dead faith (salvation through head knowledge), let that one teach that to those he once flew with.

Look at the message they are teaching: is Christ their focal point? YES? Then shut up and leave them alone and let them teach that Christ is the way to escape the life they were once of. It is simple a matter of one returning to their past flock and showing them how they escaped through Christ, the Deliverer. Amen.

I mean not to be favortism playing , but the power of God is great and cee , I believe, was who helped us all, through His leading, to understand ALL of us that argue believe in John 3:16 and have Christ as our 'foundation.'

We are to STAND in the promises of God and LOOK to our Chief Cornerstone for guidance, who is Christ, our Saviour, our Lord. Our God reigns.

Beautiful post, cee :)

It looks like Clutz and greenie are teaching OSAS, for that is the very core and foundation from which OSAS teaches. It is the power of God which saves us, The power of God which leads us, The power of God which strengthens us, and the power of God which will lead us to the end.

Like scripture says, if God be for us, who can be against us? that "who" would include ourselves. God, who started a good work in us "by making us alive in him and adopting us as his sons" WILL FINISH THE GOOD WORK. Do you believe God. if you do. and you are assured he will fulfill his promise. You have the hope that God, Who can not lie, has given us eternal life. and you would continue to believe in his name. why? because it is not us, it is GOD.. If you do have this, You have the faith which saves. And you would know nothing can take us from the love of God, Including ourself. and the argument which says OSAS is a lie would not even be argued against, because it is about God. NOT US.

'Believe' is such a great word, eg. It truly takes faith, of just a mustard seed, like squirrelabider said, for it to............. :)

I think most people would agree that a gospel not taught right
or not understood or not received by faith but merely given a nod
will not save and that there is a false hope in that persons assurance of salvation.

I can see the need for laborers to shake peoples false notions and false hopes
and false faith...but it isnt in attacking scripture. Its in using scripture that
shows the fruit of repentance and a changed direction and world view.

Im all for the work of shaking false professors and telling them the truth.
But to just run around beating on socalled bad theology isnt the way.
The bible shows ways of evidence for us to examine ourselves by.
If it were me id make that my way to shake up the false professors.
Without attacking the grace of God.

Thats why faith. Not belief, Will save you, for even demons believe and tremble. Mere belief is not assurance, which is why they do not work, but are hearers and not doers. And why those who have true faith (assurance in the promises of God) do not waver , and would never come to the point they would return to their vomit (SIN) because they have been made new creatures in Christ Jesus, , or return to the state of an unbeliever (AntiChrist). And why OSAS is true and faithfull. For anything else would be of us, under our own power., and not relying on God who promises he will be faithful, even if we are faithless.

Yep, couldn't agree more, hmm, I guess I could, but you know, not sure why it has to be ' true faith,' does Scripture have those two words in there? Faith is truly 'it.' I wholeheartedly agree with that, through faith , we can even move a mountain, a mustard seed amount, too, is all that's needed, as one may think they need more than that, eg. Nope :)

I only used the term (true faith) to explain what faith is.

you either have faith, or you do not.

You can not "have faith", and "not believe" With faith comes belief. Belief is the basis for faith, but it is not all. One can believe I can do something for them, but they may not trust me at all.
however, you can believe, yet not have faith. Thats why many believe in Christ. but will not make it to heaven, and have never known God. Because salvation can only come through faith.

No. I am 'teaching' that if one was drawn out of trying to earn their salvation and made to realize that it is impossible to have our flesh pleasing to God, then that one shall teach others from that past flock that salvation is only obtainable through faith not what we can and cannot do to be pleasing to God. This I agree.

If another one is drawn out from having head knowledge as that one's means of salvation, then that one again will proclaim to their past flock that God is real and not just a figment of their imagination and that that dead faith of the head is no faith at all and must have that faith active. This I agree.

Let each proclaim to the world their testimony (from what and how they wre delivered). If that house they build is laid upon the foundation of the Christ, then who are to judge and say their testimony is false.

To each as it (enlightment) has been given, let us work in conjunction with Him to save as many souls we can by what we have been given: out testimony. It is God who is the Harvester. We are mere planters and waterers.

Still sounds like your teaching OSAS.

Those who believe OSAS have come out of believing their flesh can please God. thus it can not be of works.

One who comes out of just head knowledge (mere belief) and truly repent that God is real, his judgments are righteous. And the sin which I have committed has separated me from him, thus they WILL WORK. because they have fully trusted God in ALL he says.
