I've noticed that a lot of people look for people with the same qualities as themselves.
Personally, I think it's important to marry someone who approaches life the same ways as you which, of course, includes their faith.
However, I think people are doing themselves and disservice by looking for someone who is like them but of a different gender.
What people need is someone to challange and grow them and you won't get that so much if you marry yourself. I also think it's a little egocentric.
Even similiar interests is okay, although I think it's good and healthy to have different interests as well. But if you're really into research and learning, it might be good for you to be with someone who's more interested in experiances rather than research. If you're someone who is very planed, maybe someone who is spontanious would be good for you. If you like to stay home and chill out most nights, it might be good to be with someone who likes to go out and do things.
See what I'm getting at here? What are your thoughts.
