Scripture says that is where the spirit of the antichrist dwell.

When you are doing the best you can, you will fail if you place your hope on yourself to do the best you can by not sinning.

So where you place that hope on is key because those that put it on themselves in doing the best they can to not sin or doing the best they can to follow Him, will draw back when He appears because they will know they have fallen short, BUT those that place their hope on Him, He will have pleasure in them because they will be rushing towards Him with thanksgiving.

Thank you yes it is His covenant of continual cleansing as we walk in the Light that we have i do not have perfect light to see all my conscious or subconscious or unconscious but He does and He it is that is perfect to continuely cleanse and complete me i am persuadeed that He is able and willing to complete and perfect that which concerns me to love and give all i am to Him, it is His work and no one elses some may receive from the Lord abilities to prode or entreat or help me make a decision i am or am not aware of but this is the work and ministry of Jesus by His Spirit to us and sometimes through us to others. This ministery of the brothers or sisters are for the perfecting (present tense) of the saints process, growth, exposure of blindness or any physical or spiritual infirmity which are nonperfections. The Spirit helps our infirmities(present tense imperfection) by praying for us in travail and utterances that we are not capable or perfect to do so we may receive His perfect work in our imperfection to add to us His perfection.

The Holy Spirit does not come from Christ. It is requested by Christ from the Father.
Jhn 14:16 KJV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Jhn 14:26 KJV - But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

True enough. However, the teacher has to know and believe what he is saying. In other words, if it is not the Holy Spirit that is guiding the teacher, the student falls short. Thus is the way of religion.

My only concern was that he was telling someone to stop studying and let another teach him and then said no one is infallible in their understanding. I was pointing out the Spirit of Truth and His roll as Schoolmaster.
I have no problem at all with preachers, teachers. etc....

The Accuser of the Brethren does not convict, neither does he love and show grace. I was a young Christian at the time but still knew how to test the spirits.God is TRUTH and will show truth and in that truth I know His amazing grace and love. Satan is more in the line of heaping guilt and condemnation. I knew who was speaking to me and it draw me closer into Gods love, not made me feel like a failure. I really cant see the point why Satan would draw me closer into Gods love, can you? It just made me fall in love with God more.

Scripture says that the spirit of the antichrist is in the world ... that means outside of you.
#2) You were testifying how the knowledge of sin took away your pride in your accomplishment in keeping that list to not sin that day.
You say convicted, but in showing your failure, that was condemnation.

#3) Finishing by the flesh as the foolish Galatians had done is walking after the flesh.

How is it that you were not set free from that but only encouraged to keep trying? I lived like that once in trying to keep my commitment to follow Him and that was like a mouse running inside a wheel... going nowhere.
What I would be led to say is that you can't keep that list. Give it to Jesus to do His work in you. Place your hope in Him.

That's really going to Him in love because you would know His love for you in that He will do it for you. That's His workmanship. Not yours. That is why the just shall live by faith... in the Son of God and all of His promsies to us.

Psalm 118:8[SUP]8 [/SUP]It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
Or in yourself by doing the best you can because no matter how much the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak, therefore what is impossible with man, is possible with God. Trust Him. No one that places their trust in Him will be put to shame.

You are telling me that I can ONLY have the Holy Spirit in me and He is not allowed to go anywhere else? He is completely confined to my being? (some one had better told Him that when He descended on Jesus as a dove)

Conviction would inform you to look to Him to keep from arriving at that place again, but instead, you are still trying to do the best you can to not sin, right? Are you not still setting yourself up to fail again and again and again?
When facing any sin, we go to Jesus with it and ask for forgiveness and for help not to do it again as in lead us not into temptation and deliever us from the evil one for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Otherwise, how can you escape pride again if you are the one doing the best you can not to sin?
That reference to Jesus's water baptism is hardly applicable for believers in testing the spirits. To do so would make void testing any spirits then. So read this again.

Why would the Holy Spirit need to fill the room to talk to you when He is already within you? I am not saying that He is not in you. I am saying that scripture places the spirit of the antichrist as being outside of you.
Jesus even said how we will know the Holy Spirit personally and that is by dwelling within us.
