I have to admit something. I'm a horrible bowler. A terrible, horrible, incapable bowler.
I stink at video games...except when I can dance or shoot stuff. :)

I don't have a clue what this thread was originally about but now its the stuff i'm terrible at thread.

I've always been one of those picked first in Gym kids but, I can't for the life of me hit a Baseball. When I do, I usually tear something in my shoulder. I know I'm doing it wrong but, I don't know hot to fix it. I don't have the same problem with Golf or Tennis.

I've never changed a Diaper in my life (and I'm pretty sure I never will), therefore I would say I'm pretty bad at it.

I can't Bowl more that 2 strikes in a game and I'm content to shoot for breaking 100.

The problem in your shoulder is most likely a rotator cuff issue. Maybe you fell as a child and there's a build up scar tissue or something like that.

I'm a pro at changing diapers!

Stuff I am terrible at:
Sticking to a hobby when interest dies down
Singing
Not procrastinating
Sticking to a budget
Mario Kart (I always hit those darn penguins, a wall, or drive off the road into oblivion)

And no, it is a Toyota Rav4.

My mind is blown onto how we got on the topic of bowling...I read the thread and didn't see anything about it? While we're talking about it though, I'm also a horrible bowler. I do like picking out the prettiest ball, though. The trick is finding one that's the right weight and pretty.

Lexus is to Toyota as Cadillac is to Buick.

As for bowling... that's Nuke's fault. Or should I say Lebowski's fault.

It blows my mind when people don't get that one, but I'll give you a pass on it, Rachel. Based on your Youth.

So this is about what we're not good at! Oh boy, do I have a list!!

I'm horrible at the following...

Sleeping through the night

Not being sarcastic

Bowling

Remembering to put air in my tires

Remembering to get the oil changed

Staying off CC

Not making my "that is really dumb" face when I see something dumb on tv.

Not burping in the middle of my pharmacology class (it's right after lunch...)

Yep. That's it. When it comes down to it folks, I'm a pretty awesome person. A great catch, really.

Oh how the threads of CC ebb and flow. :p

Something that I'm not good at is hiding my confusion. I have a bad habit of tilting my head (similar to a dog) and getting a confused look on my face when I don't get something. I figured it was a good thing when I was in college because my profs could easily see when I didn't understand. In every day life, it just makes me feel weird but it's a reaction that I can't seem to stop.

Your brain is doing what's it has been programmed to do. Tilting the head and the slight narrowing of eyes is an across the board, all cultures, human thing to do. Some people have more pronounced movements than others, but what you're doing is normal. :D

Change diapers are the worst at dishes! I don't know. Can't trust them.

Rachel, I think your inclination to head-tilt is fantastic! It's one way to keep life interesting.

I'm afraid of great heights, even in computer games like Assassin's Creed 2. Gives me the creeps.

Some things just blow your mind. Like this:

My initials are N.A., so whenever I try to sign my approval on something, I invalidate it. Whoah.
NA is also Sodium on the periodic table.
Something I realized the other night is that hugging is literally a gesture that says "I hold you close to my heart."

I never said I WON'T but its not like I'm going to approach a stranger and offer to change their child's diaper. There were no babies brought into Home Ec 101 for this purpose.

I would say Toyota is to Lexus as Chevrolet is to Cadillac. Or Ford is to Lincoln or Nissan is to Infinity.

But here is one... Scion is to Toyota what Saturn was to GM.

... habit of tilting my head (similar to a dog) and getting a confused look on my face when I don't get something....
I, too, do this. It is more subtle in me than many, however, because before I got glasses, tilting my head made things more in-focus. I was ridiculed for walking around with my head looking like it didn't get any v8, so the behavior is slightly conditioned out of me... but only slightly.
Those that know me well can spot it a mile away, and that's usually a sign that things need to come to a halt and bring me up to speed. I tend to get stuff, so when I don't it is something of a red flag.
