I thought this thread was about the dangers of close proximity between male and female Christians!!!

Oh wait, you're a female, so I should not be talking with you right now (in case somethings "develops" between us).

Please ignore my post!!!

(Descyple runs off to read the book "How To Live Happily Without Female Companionship and Cooties"
I can put on this phony mustache while I talk to you if it makes you feel more comfortable.

lololol.

I enjoy your facts! There should be a thread devoted to all Aimee's facts, and have a daily fact entry! :)

I laughed and blushed a little at this post. It had occurred to me that maybe my "fun facts" weren't so fun for everyone. But after seeing that you and Seatbelt are thrilled, I'll keep reporting. :D

Thank you, Relena.

And can you also type your posts in BOLD from now on, so it seems like you have a deeper voice too?

That's much better, Relena!!!

Now I would feel comfortable sitting next to you in my church pew (just make sure if our hands accidentally touch when passing the collection plate, that your skin is not softer than mine, or your bro-disguise will all be for nothing!!! - lol).

I don't have a clue what this thread was originally about but now its the stuff i'm terrible at thread.
Is there an actual underlying common topic in this thread or is this one of those "whatever threads"? I'm slightly lost. :D
Lol, it was supposed to be a thread to post things that blow your mind, but since I did such an awesome job of conveying that in my OP, hardly anybody did so....you mean to tell me that y'all aren't privy to my thought processes?!?!?! Mind = Blown :p

I had a rare evening off last night, so I didn't bother to clarify the topic, I'm enjoying the randomness. If 1Stillwaters or Oncefallen happens to see this post, please change the title to "Ridin' d rails".

Feel free to post things that blow your mind, or simply commence with the randomness. At this point, I'm mostly just waiting for Tommy4Christ to come in and tell us that we're going to burn for eternity. ;)

Oh how the threads of CC ebb and flow. :p

Something that I'm not good at is hiding my confusion. I have a bad habit of tilting my head (similar to a dog) and getting a confused look on my face when I don't get something. I figured it was a good thing when I was in college because my profs could easily see when I didn't understand. In every day life, it just makes me feel weird but it's a reaction that I can't seem to stop.
Lol, I do that, too....I call it the "Erf? Face" :D

Actually, I look eeeezactly like THIS flower:
I was going to post a million different images to represent my looks, but I was afraid one of us was going to come off looking bad. I will let you guess on whether it would be me or my fake look a-like.

Being as you are such a pretty boy, I don't think you will have that worry. Oh, have I mentioned that?

Allow me to weigh in on the car discussion... I agree to reject the Saturn-Scion comparison. Scion has numerous original cars that aren't represented in the domestic US Toyota line. Saturn only had one car (the S-Series) that wasn't part of GM platform sharing. (it wasn't a rebadged Cavalier)
Yes, not a rebadge Cavi... but an apple off the same tree.

The original Saturn S-Series was a good car for its time. It was built and sold in a different way than what GM was used to. GM then promptly ignored Saturn for the next 12 years before they started adding rebadged GM platforms...Much too little, much too late. If you have a brand that puts out the exact same thing as the other brands, then why bother? (See also: Pontiac, Plymouth, Mercury, and to some extent, Saab, Oldsmobile)

The S-Series also had some special, limited editions and a good showing in car racing. The RedLine trim levels helped, but a brand/model can't survive without a modern redesign every few years. By the time Saturn received mildly interesting rebadged cars in 2006 with the Sky, Astra, and Aura, the brand was already dead.
Sadly, brand engineering was what it was taking to get them toward where they should have been...
My fave rebadge... the Subaru that became a Saab.

No dancing allowed. Dancing is evil. All males and females should be at least one (New AND Old Testament) Bible length away from each other at all times. First step: dancing, second step: pre-marital sex. We must all resist the urge to dance!

:p
Tell you what, dance one reel with me and then resist all you want.
Contra dancing is the best.

One time I was outside at night, and I saw a meteorite AKA "shooting star". So I made a secret wish on it.......and then the next day, my parents ordered us some Chinese food for dinner, and when I opened my fortune cookie, it read, "Keep your plans a secret for now".

....Duuuuuuuuuuuuuude.....

Interestingly enough, it was at school that I learned to smoke. I was 16. I'd had my car taken away for some minor curfew violation, which meant my folks had to drop me off & pick me up which was more of a punishment for them than me, except that it meant I had an extra 90 minutes before the start of the school day. Only those excessively involved in sports practices and the most ne'er do well students were there at that time. A friend of a friend had stolen a case of cigs and then been disappointed to realize he'd grabbed menthols. There was plenty to go around and what else was I going to do with my time? I'd long given up actually doing my school work. The first time I tried to quit smoking, I picked up a significantly nasty caffeine addiction trying to replace the lungful of stimulants. Then I discovered combing the two. Proud to say that the last time I had a smoke was July 2001. I've also not had any caffeine (other than the trace in chocolate) in 3.5 years. Considering my short nights and long days, I think God's done a pretty good job with me. I'm grateful He tidied up my life after all the messes I've made.

In closing, allow me to attempt to re-rail (that's a word NOW) this thread:
My mind is completely and utterly blown when I think of all the garbage that I've done, all the stunts I've pulled, and all the wrong choices I've made that God has seen fit to transform me from, putting me to small uses in His kingdom. To have Him take me back and remake me is unfathomable. I was so far down the rabbit hole that I didn't even know I needed to change until the transformation was in progress and I could look back and see what had changed so far. I'm not saying that I'm not still a work in progress, but reflecting and seeing how far I've come and what He has been able to do with what I was guilty of having done...That blows my mind. It is very true that God has a use or two for cracked earthen vessels. Praise be to God.

Some things just blow your mind. Like this:

My initials are N.A., so whenever I try to sign my approval on something, I invalidate it. Whoah.
My sister almost named my nephew Paul Michael (last name starrts with S) until someone pointed out what his initials were going to be.
