No dice on the one I originally applied for sadly....I sorta put all my proverbial eggs in this basket so I'm pretty sad. But mostly mad at me for failing as I've done....Lord help me....

If I remember my training correctly, being fired for medical reasons is discrimination... and illegal.

I know the rush you feel for benefits, etc., but there has been many a time when my husband was not working (without benefits), and we totally had to have faith in God who Provides instead of man-made securities. Maybe, just maybe, he is leading you down that path first. Don't blame yourself for not getting hired - and don't struggle so hard.

Begin to spend your spare time praising Him that He is your provider, and will care for you. If doors close, don't think of what you might be losing, thank God that He closed those doors for a reason.

Trust - trust my darling girl. And fear not as Jesus kept reminding us.

Well it wasn't like anemia or bad back, but essentially stomach aches and bad digestion from IBS. Probably something I could control...or at lest manage better

Been a while since I posted anything. Dad's cancer had kinda halted the whole job search in it's entirety. However, my cousin's boyfriend has a possible job for me. He works for a motocross company as their inventory guy, and there is tons and tons of paperwork he has to basically copy and paste into their computer. His offer was, "Hey, you could work from home doing these forms that just clutter up my day."

It's not for sure, since he has to make a proposal to the company for the position to be created for me basically. I'll find out in possibly the middle of March.

And sadly. I didn't go through.

But to get back to today. I did something dumb.

I really enjoy Buzzfeed, the video side of it. I should say, the PG side of it. They can have adorable content, but sometimes they can have suggestive content that I avoid. They had an application for freelance illustrators, and I applied to it.

Why did I do that!?

I really love when their content is cleaver and cute, but they also have stuff that is really like almost rated R on their videos. It's not graphic, but they go over topics that are very....well graphic! And they're all about showing stuff with the LGBT crowd and just... *mutters* When I write it out, I think sending that application was a mistake. I prayed that if God didn't want me to have that job, that He wouldn't let me get an interview for it, and especially not to get it.

But what if I get an interview? Does that mean God would want me, as a Christian, to try for it? I mean there are Christians working secular jobs everywhere, but this place is suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper that.

I just feel like I made a mistake and want to take it back but at this point it's gone to the internet. I guess all I can do is see what happens. I feel so dumb.

I saw online today that Cigna is looking to hire at least 100 people to work from home...you should check out their site, perhaps. It sounds like it's customer service phone work, but it also provides benefits

Also Amazon is hiring for at home customer service reps, part time, and they offer benefits at 20 or more hours a week

Searching for a job is a job isn't it? I recently had to decline a job offer from a former employer due to lack of childcare during the summer. The same reason I had to resign before. I really wanted to go back and tried to find child care that wouldn't take most of my part time paycheck but I couldn't.

Also in 2018 we're going to start cyber school with my Son, so I'm thinking God is saying, not yet. I was disappointed
but timing is everything I guess.
