Norway beat Hong Kong in Overwatch WC but is gonna get slaughtered by China tonight and then destroy Romania tomorrow. In the end it won't matter when South Korea wins out again. I don't care about the US team lol.

Crusader Kings 2 update:

I'm thinking of stopping because this Viking experiment is too easy. Me and my Jarls siezed all of England, Scotland, Ireland, the coast of Norway, most of Denmark, Brittany, most of Normandy, and Flanders

Under the leadership of Emperor Hrane "The Sword of Thor", I managed to Reform the Germanic Religion and establish the Fylkirate making my family line heads of the Norse religion. This means I get to change succession laws to ensure an undivided realm. Which means my main character can have lots and lots of babies with no incentive not to have babies. That means a HUGE family and no game-over (the game ends when you run out of heirs).

I know if I wanted to, I could take the rest of the North Sea's coast, cut Roman Catholic moral authority to 0, and take ALL of France within a generation.

The question is do I want to? For you new CK2 players- the Norse factions are harder at first, but if you can seize the holy sites and reform the Norse religion, they are over-powered to the point you miss the simple pleasure of having your mom and hunchback brother seize your county in an uprising because you led your troops to the wrong creek. Or plotting to kill your sister's husband because he wants to provoke a war with the big Empire next door.

With the Vikings you get very little of that fun.

I no longer have such games. Used to have a PlayStation 2 but gave it away to someone I knew with many games (Probably 50-80) and its integral screen I had bought for it. I liked Grand Tourismo 4. Also enjoyed playing Delta Force Black Hawk Down. The disappointing thing was that when one reached the top position when playing online, one got ones account shut down and one would need to start again. Happened when I beat my previous record as well! I chatted to many others on that game. It was fun! I mastered the machine gun, even able to shoot it long range! M240B. Surprising how many snipers I took out long range shooting with that! :D (They didnt like it!).
I occasionally play my brothers Xbox Project Gotham Racing, but it didnt take too long to get all the cars and motorbikes and tracks. We also enjoy another game he has called Halo. Is fun shooting each other.

I guess what I have now is a couple of board games and a few card games. I played for the first time (I once tried it when it first came out but I was about seven so didnt understand it... Some kid brought it to school) a game called "The Game of Life". It is fun. I ended up married with three children! I'd like to buy that game if I get spare cash!

Delta Force Blackhawk Down!

Great multiplayer memories there. At one point my buddies and I organized an online knife fight. Only ka-bar kills were considered legitimate.

I'm surprised how long we got it to last, to be honest. A lot of guys who wandered into the room were intrigued by the idea.

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun was another underrated game for multiplayer.

You could really jack up the AI bots to absurd levels.

Then you are a hero. Centipede, Galaga, Missile Command, etc.

That's when games were unforgiving.

For those that don't already know, Gamestop is currently having a 4 for $10 sale on over 3,100 titles.

Here's the online link for it:
Search | GameStop

The discounts will only show when you go to check out your cart.

If you purchase 8 games or more, use the promotional code SAVER and click on "Apply" for free shipping, otherwise it's like $6 to $8 extra.

The sale ends August 13th.

I got all of these for a final total of $21.20.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Battlefield Bad Company 2
L.A. Noire
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Halo 4

So happy.

The early Delta Force series was the bomb!

Unfortunately novalogic dropped the ball on rnd and didnt keep up with the industry. Although I do see a fairly dedicated community still on novaworld.

Some games just have staying power, man.

I played some Skyrim tonight. As new to me as the day I bought it 5 years ago.

Talk about staying power, I'm playing through the Metal Gear series at the moment.
Skyrim is a classic too, invested too much time on that on the PC and only managed 4 story missions. Too many times I said, "Alright I'm gonna progress with the story." Only to find on the way to the Elders go, "Oooo, what's that?" and spend an hour slaying the undead in some dungeon inside a door behind the bookshelf in some abandoned shack in the forest lol

I'm a huge Gx fan. I was so glad 4kids released the much better japanese version as well as the 4th season on Crunchy Roll.
