Heaven is a resting place of everlasting bliss which is golden and home when we die, to get there, we must overcome the sin that falls into our lives. There is evil temptation the leaks in which must be rebuked, thus representation of the 10 commandments (for many of these commandments, you lose your life, freedom, family, and other things): ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'
FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'
FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'
SIX: 'You shall not murder.'
SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'
EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'
NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'
TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'
But Jesus shed his blood for us when he died on the cross for our sins, mine and yours, not just Christians, and when this happens, this allowed us to be forgiven. He suffered died and was buried, and he rose again, this was a miracle. Our hearts, which can be filled with black sin, can be purified again, if we ask God for forgiveness of our sins.
Faith is one of the ways that you can have eternal life, but you will want to allow the Holy Spirit in, by praying, hanging out with people that believe, and going to worship. Listening to music that enlightens you spiritually, and let me tell you, Christians can rock out, listen to Skillet.
God is kind and He loves you, it's not a you better or this! There are consequences to every action, you've just had information interpreted to you in ways that seem inconsistent.
