Well, pink is simply red with white mixed into it... whereas purple does not exist at all in the spectrum of visible light... if you watch the presentation you will see how the brain completely fabricates the colour LOL making it completely imaginary... of course that appeals to my sense of humor and irony, knowing that something I have a high preference for does not even exist. Though to say it is not part of the visible spectrum doesn't really mean it does not exist. It just vibrates at a higher frequency because it is so special

Cool beans, though if I'm mistaking I've heard it's the ends of the spectrum red and blueish that produce pink though of coarse that from the Internet hahaha...

That is because the colour magenta is actually quite a pink colour LIKE THIS the hex code for magenta being ff00ff which that is... one site says magenta is between red and violet but that is not how the eye is said to see magenta according to the video. Of course as already noted there is a difference between light rays and pigment colour tones. For instance, in the pigment system, purple and orange are said to be opposites or complementary, whereas in light ray frequencies, magenta and green are opposite/complementary.
Or is it purple and yellow are opposites in pigment, with blue and orange being
complimentary... anyways, the point being that pigments and light rays
behave differently Here is a pigment colour wheel:
Compare to the light spectrum colour wheel:
Red opposite Cyan, Magenta opposite Green, Blue opposite Yellow.
Some showed black in the center, but that would be incorrect, since
black is the absence of light, whereas white is all colours combined
