Or is it purple and yellow are opposites in pigment, with blue and orange being
complimentary... anyways, the point being that pigments and light rays
behave differently :D Here is a pigment colour wheel:

Compare to the light spectrum colour wheel:

Red opposite Cyan, Magenta opposite Green, Blue opposite Yellow.

Some showed black in the center, but that would be incorrect, since
black is the absence of light, whereas white is all colours combined :)

This is true. I learnt this in art school.

And pink is actually a tint of red. (that's a fancy way of saying it's a mix of red and white).

Tints are when colors are mixed with white, and shades are when they are mixed with black. (I didn't make this up, I promise!)

Don't even get me started on secondary's and tertiary's...

My cousin and I saw a nearby rainbow, so we decided to find the end of it. The rainbow was in a field usually with horses in it.

The sucker moved! Every time we walked closer, it moved. What's up with that?

I once saw a mini rainbow with both ends in a field! I wanted to go and start
digging up the field but I was at work at the time. The field was right next to
our office car park.

Shucks my chance gone!

I also saw a mini tornado in that same field, It looked a bit like this but not
as big.
There was definately something strange about that field.

It's pretty cool that when using paints etc.. Black is all colors combine yet in nature white is all colors combined minus the hue..
The human eye only has three receptors green, blue, red, colors the human eye sees is formed out of combos of the three color recepts..

I love blue as well :) For years my mom always got me blue shirts because she loved that they matched with my eyes; I got really annoyed once and told her I didn't want to wear blue so for several years she never bought me one solitary blue shirt...until I abjectly apologized and asked her to start buying blue again. I still like the blue shirts mom picks out better than most of my self-bought wardrobe :D

Yeah, I like all shades of blue...My eyes are a blueish green, and If I wear green they look green but if I wear blue they look blue...so I guess I actually do have the ability to change colors...lol:)

My sister has kind of pale greenish/hazel eyes that change color depending on what she's wearing. She doesn't like wearing really light colors because her eyes look kind of washed out! Crazy, but cool :)

Many years ago my daughter told me her favourite colour was blue, and for many years after that her friends would tease her when she wore something new that was blue... they would say to her, your mom bought you that, didn't she? Haha. I had to eventually stop buying her blue things so she would not resent my mono-tonal-ness :D When she was quite young once she asked me, what if you woke up one day and didn't like purple any more? I laughed and said I'd have to go shopping, but that was before she caught the female shopaholic bug, so she did not get how it could have been fun (she used to hate shopping for clothes until she was into her twenties). Another time she said with a touch of scorn in her voice that I only liked one colour. I was flabbergasted! There are hundreds of shades of purple that I wear :D I ain't so monotonal after all :D I will even wear fuschia :)

Pink is my favorite color. I actually own a few pink things. My wristwatch is pink, my shoelaces are pink (I always buy them when I get new shoes every few months : p) and even my headphones too.

Some people act a bit like.... unhappy or uncomfortable with it, since Im male and all. I think thats pretty lame, as no one should be allowed to have ownership over a color : p Its really not even all that uncommon for males to like that color anyway : p Even if its not their favorite, they still often like the color.

I think its the best feel good color, its bright and lively and makes you feel happy and junk. I like colorful things, and I have grown fond of the color : p

I like to see men wearing pink, for then I know they are secure in who they are, their sense of who they are is not dictated by such things... though I am just waking up, and I thought your chocolates (shoelaces haha) were pink :D

Once when I had to see a corporate doctor after being whiplashed, I forget who it was who suggested to me not to wear all purple like I normally do, and I thought that was a strange suggestion coming from a professional person. It made me wonder why some things are accepted as normal and okay and others are looked at differently. My mind of course went to how so many people wear blue jeans all the time... a person wearing a blue tee shirt with a pair of jeans would not stir as much excitement/suspicion as me all dressed as I do in a different colour. Or black pants with a white shirt. So colourless and yes it can be classy... but you could wear that every day and it would be seen as being normal but dressing in various shades of purple every day is not? Haha, it is for me! :D
