[h=1]Isaiah 57New Living Translation (NLT)[/h]57 Good people pass away;
the godly often die before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand
that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
2 For those who follow godly paths
will rest in peace when they die.

[h=3]Idolatrous Worship Condemned[/h]3 “But you—come here, you witches’ children,
you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!
4 Whom do you mock,
making faces and sticking out your tongues?
You children of sinners and liars!
5 You worship your idols with great passion
beneath the oaks and under every green tree.
You sacrifice your children down in the valleys,
among the jagged rocks in the cliffs.
6 Your gods are the smooth stones in the valleys.
You worship them with liquid offerings and grain offerings.
They, not I, are your inheritance.
Do you think all this makes me happy?
7 You have committed adultery on every high mountain.
There you have worshiped idols
and have been unfaithful to me.
8 You have put pagan symbols
on your doorposts and behind your doors.
You have left me
and climbed into bed with these detestable gods.
You have committed yourselves to them.
You love to look at their naked bodies.
9 You have gone to Molech[a]
with olive oil and many perfumes,
sending your agents far and wide,
even to the world of the dead.[b]
10 You grew weary in your search,
but you never gave up.
Desire gave you renewed strength,
and you did not grow weary.

11 “Are you afraid of these idols?
Do they terrify you?
Is that why you have lied to me
and forgotten me and my words?
Is it because of my long silence
that you no longer fear me?
12 Now I will expose your so-called good deeds.
None of them will help you.
13 Let’s see if your idols can save you
when you cry to them for help.
Why, a puff of wind can knock them down!
If you just breathe on them, they fall over!
But whoever trusts in me will inherit the land
and possess my holy mountain.”

[h=3]God Forgives the Repentant[/h]14 God says, “Rebuild the road!
Clear away the rocks and stones
so my people can return from captivity.”
15 The high and lofty one who lives in eternity,
the Holy One, says this:
“I live in the high and holy place
with those whose spirits are contrite and humble.
I restore the crushed spirit of the humble
and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.
16 For I will not fight against you forever;
I will not always be angry.
If I were, all people would pass away—
all the souls I have made.
17 I was angry,
so I punished these greedy people.
I withdrew from them,
but they kept going on their own stubborn way.
18 I have seen what they do,
but I will heal them anyway!
I will lead them.
I will comfort those who mourn,
19 bringing words of praise to their lips.
May they have abundant peace, both near and far,”
says the Lord, who heals them.
20 “But those who still reject me are like the restless sea,
which is never still
but continually churns up mud and dirt.
21 There is no peace for the wicked,”
says my God.

as their God.Here is a small selection of verses referring to where God dwells:

 • [*=center]God is in heaven – Ecc 5:2
Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few.

 • [*=center]God cannot be contained by even the heavens – 1 Kings 8:27
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!
Psa 113:4-6
The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! (5) Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, (6) who looks far down on the heavens and the earth?

 • [*=center]God dwells in Zion, his holy mountain – Joel 3:16-17
The LORD roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the LORD is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel. (17) “So you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, my holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall be holy, and strangers shall never again pass through it.

 • [*=center]God, through his spirit, is everywhere – Psa 139:7-10
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? (8) If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol [the grave], you are there! (9) If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, (10) even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me

 • [*=center]God dwells with his people –2 Cor 6:16
What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
1 John 4:15
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
Isa 57:15
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

 • [*=center]After the reign of Christ when he hands the Kingdom to God, God will then dwell with men – Rev 21:3
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them

In my house stress and anger is boiling more and more there seems to not ever be a day anymore in which everyone is angry and stressed and yelling and attacking each other and it's easy to get caught in that fire and then have yourself become the same way. I have found that the only way I can be at peace in heart is to draw near to him and that means going into my room listening to Christian music and discussing and studying the things of God.

I often times have to go to that quite place alone with him to have the peace and love in my heart because if your around all of that stuff no matter how strong you are it will eventually begin to affect you
I hear more and more people comment about the anger they see and experience. Anger is spreading. Of course, the more people in the world, the more anger. But anger seems to pervade, attach to our lives. Perhaps the ready links we all have with each other and then all the political and social upheaval in the world. It's all at our fingertips.
Blaine! you got it. Back to the Source for serenity, peace, and rejuvenation. All there in our heart from God. Need to scoot the constant negatives aside and reflect, focus, meditate on the Father, His ways, His truth, His promises, His blessings, His sureties.
Continue to find those times and places that afford you separation from the prevailing anger.
May you not grow weary.
Thank you.

I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.
[a]
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.
But I do not excuse the guilty.
I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren;
the entire family is affected—
even children in the third and fourth generations.

************

Jesus and the Father are one, it says this in JOHN 17.

Then it says the Lord is the same yesterday today and forever.

Though the Old Testament,
God Yahweh
Remains the same, for he said, he changes not,
He is "I am that I am"

I believe the above scripture is true.

It is seen always, that the apple doesn't fall too far from the same tree.

There is a blood covenant I believe when God ordained a family, that those ties, are forever,
whether seen or not.

Stories of foster homes, where children never knew their parents, a true story of 2 brothers adopted,
and though raised in health, and a good environment, wanting nothing,
they ended in prison.
Finding their mother, for medical reasons,
They found her also in prison, for the same things.

THis verse is easy to understand.
Playing church is your going to be torn apart.
Having one foot in the world, and one foot going to church.
Personally I had known people who when in high school used the church
for finances, lying about being in financial need, and then confessing, that they needed it for substance abuse.
You know people can't cope with guilt.
This is one of the remedies,
THEY TALK.
Only Jesus can wash the condemnation, and guilt from the spirit, soul, and mind.
If that was then, it is worse now.
Rest assured, The LORDS words do not return void unto him.
What he says, will be done.
The church is not a crutch, to escape from a broken world, that only
can be restored to us in full by his healing.
Repentance, and salvation from it's ills.
To some it has become a hide out a phasad of covering up your sins.
Know this that it says your sins will find you out.
It is a terrible thing to not be protected by the covering of God's
protection, when he spits you out, back upon the earth, that was
cursed, to where you belong, unrepeated
Unobserving, and uNHonring of a Creator, in the Midst.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul, and mind. bv
Do you know what pillar in Hebrew means,
I read it means WATCHER.

Here it goes, Lots wife, was concerned about the things of the wicked cities and the wicked people, she disobeyed the words that were told her Not to look back.
She was turned into a watcher.
A pillar.
So it is with the lukewarm believers, not fully repented, nor santified,
which means seperated from the wickedness of this world's ways.
SANTIFICATION= SEPERATION FROM SIN.
When the Word says something, is is a warning, why not listen to it.
Not fully surrendered
