Well....its the same as what's going on inside a English speaking cathedral. Only in Spanish :D. 3/4 of the population in new Mexico is Mexican so a lot of churches/cathedrals have spanish masses and services.
I guess I was referring to the Spanish colonial look.

But yes, this is what RC cathedrals are like. I myself identify with a simple, Biblical Lord's Supper.

New Mexico sounds like a great state, anyway.

Ah the look. Well thats a majority of what new mexico has to offer. And not just in the churches. I personally just ask for a church that has a sense of family. I dont think you should go to church with a "lets get this over with" attitude nor should a congregation make someone feel that way.

I really like this thread as seeing all of the United States has been one of my bucket list items. So far I have been to 37 states it would be easier for me to list where

I have NOT BEEN TO

Arizona
New Mexico
Utah
Iowa
Idaho
Alaska
Montana
North Dakota
South Dakota
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Nebraska
Arkansas

Since I am 59 now I need to get a move on for these last 13 while I am good health. Some of my favorite states are Hawaii which was great because I was there for a family wedding in 2008 and so much fun and good family memories. I loved Colorado just from the beauty of the state and the wide open space feel. Kentucky and Tennessee are wonderful states and the Virginia's again are beautiful. Loved Maryland and DC because of all the history there. New York city is like none other much too busy for me but enjoyed the visit. Really liked my visit to California and Lake Tahoe in Nevada/CA a very beautiful place. My plan is to take an Alaskan cruise next summer 2015 Lord willing and drive back through the Northern states and Arkansas to pick them up on my way back to Florida where I live.

I have lived in

Indiana
Kentucky
Tennessee
Oklahoma
Florida

Camped in the big trees of oregon ...the camp site was in a hollowed out tree stump.....amazing....
The beautiful state parks in Virginia...also a sight to see....im now in south florida were I call home....
year round summers....God has blessed us with so much natural beauty and glory I want to see it all.....snorkel anywhere
on the east coast with the beautiful reef running up the gulf stream....last summer i had the honor to swim with
a manatee mother and child who swam right up to us at the beach.....I wanted to touch but it is dangerous for them and
also against the law.....God sure is wonderful....

37 out of 50, not too bad for being under 40 i guess :)

i've not been to the southwest, the most northerly parts of New England, the northern central US west of Illinois and east of Wyoming, nor to Hawaii or Alaska.

when i become independently wealthy, with time and a nice car, maybe i'll take care of that. i've always wanted to drive up to Chicago and take route 66 to the west.
