I love listening to the sound of someone's heartbeat and also the sound of howling winds...

I like the sound of copies being made at the copier on the other side of my cubicle at work, especially if somebody has many pages. It's just a relaxing monotonous sound to listen to when I'm working.

before even opening the thread, I finished the sentence with "Rain."

Some other I like are:

Water flowing over rocks (already mentioned).
My son talking peacefully in his sleep.
Snow falling in a forest when all else is still. (If you've not... then add it to the bucket list!)

A well tuned v8.
The turbo blow off when you shift.
A tractor in a field.

The overlapping cadence of street vendors.
Elevated/subway trains.
Street musicians.

A freight train in the night.
Trucks on wet highways.
Hueys. Many at once if possible.

Cows.
Tree frogs.
A good meal on the grill.

The music of life is all around us. Let us celebrate the wonder of God's creation and praise him for it.

I like Mother Nature's relaxing lullaby :)
- crickets chirping at night
- waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning

- loons calling
- rustling of leaves

my friend's boat out on the lake early in the morning when the water is all glassy. I don't care if he's pulling me, or I'm pulling him, but that is such a peaceful time to go wake boarding... just thinking of the sound gives me a tiny taste of freedom and tranquility.
