That actually DID happen to me. Except, he didn't even have money and didn't tell me until after the fact.

This reminds me of a hidden camera joke show where a guy pretends he's looking for a roommate and he tells the perspective client that his therapist and parole officer told him he's ready for a new roommate again.

One of my best friends from college actually took his girlfriend at the time to the Checkers drive-thru for a first date.. Actually ended up dating for threes years after that.
