(Actually I'm a tea drinker, but Tim's sells that as well, right?)

So I guess it has a placement where it's straighforward to cover up if you want to - or show if you want to. (Sometimes the placement thing is the $64 ,000 question, right? - Canadian dollars, of course...)

Take care.

No i wont bother having it removed or anything. I can easily keep it covered up.....or just live with it.
Tim Hortons Land is a great....so is the coffee!

Upper arm, I see, well it used to be that arm (and chest) were preferred placements for first tattoos for men, while the ladies go for a placement like ankle, etc. I guess you didn't think along those lines, though...?

(As long as the tea is wet, but I don't usually use the Tim's drive-through, I would only spill my precious tea...)

Take care.

Well there are just kind of tendencies, I guess.

Men would often get their first tattoo on their arm or chest.

Whereas ladies often got their first on ankle, or maybe shoulder. I think nape of neck is getting a very popular feminine tattoo placement as well (as is lower back, of course).

But it varies hugely...

Noooo , lol.

A lady's arm tattoo can be exquisitely feminine to an enhacing exent!

I was just referring more to general impressions of statistical distribution of placements along gender lines that maybe used to be the case in the past, maybe.

(I think Tim's employees keep theirs covered, right?)

Take care.

I'm sure you agree that for a lady to get her arm etc tatted up can sometimes be a potent expression of femininity.

And anyway, particularly since many ladies have faith convictions and many tattoos are faith related, the arm is often the placement that is used for witness tattoos, right?

Take care.

My friend just got a tattoo I thought was pretty cool. It is a handprint form Jesus on her shoulder, like Jesus put His hand on her shoulder. With a little patch of blood in the middle. I liked it.:D

That does seem like an awesome tat. If and when i do get a tat, im going to get a tat on my left wrist of a Jesus fish or cross. not sure yet if i will ever get one, considering my family would kill to know i inked my body in a place where it can be hard to cover. But it will be something i'll think about for awhile before its put on for good!

Any suggestions on some tats that could be used as a witnessing tool????
Just curious what some peoples ideas are.

So I guess it was an age 18 thing, getting your tattoo, like many do at 18? I think many parlors won't in any case do under 18s, right?

Take care.

well i just got it cuz i wanted to. i mean it just happened at 18. it really had nothing to do with me being 18. and i actually got it for free from my best friend. cuz my best friend's sister has a tattoo gun and did it for free at her house. and the laws here say you have to be 18 to get a tat unless you have your parents permission. and i got my parents premission cuz i care what they think, even tho they didnt care lol.

So they were okay with it anyway, your parents, then? often if parents themselves have tattoos, they are more likely to be.

Take care.

yeah they were fine with it. They don't have any tattoos themselves tho. but i asked them and they said 'you are 18 and its your body. its up to you!'
so after i got their permission and after i prayed about it i got one!

I see, then. Did your mom come with you to the tattooist, maybe? or perhaps you didn't want her to. Some ppl do like some moral support, though, when having it done.

Take care.
