Only half and hour, I see, so you have good pain tolerance, then, you think? Was it your first and last tattoo experience that you were going to have? some people are put off getting any more by the pain of their first and only one, anyway.

Take care.

I see, so it didnt really bother you (like it does some ppl) to feel the needle shooting ink into you? You're an adult now, right? so you didn't let it bother you, I guess.

Take care.

I see, so you kept your eyes on the tattoo needle while the ink went in, did you? Some people can't bear to watch, anyway. Sounds like your mom would be one of those, anwyay, if she ever had it done.

Take care.

Oh sorry to hear that about your mom, what happened.

But anyway, so did your friend already have one herself, when you had it done?

my mom stepped on a piece of glass and it got infected and the doctors didnt take care of it right away.

yeah my friend got one about a week before i got mine. she got a burning rose on her side/ribs/hip area. it was her first tat and it prolly hurt more than mine cuz apparently the ribs are the most sensitive area.

I see, so hers was't faith related like yours was, and anyway I guess her placement means it wouldn't be seen much. I'm sure hers must have hurt more than yours, but she might have thought you were being brave.

Take care.

Oh well.

Placement makes a lot of difference, though, I guess. Not just for the pain levels but also the visiblity factor.

Take care.

I got one durring the crazed teen years...don't want it now.
I feel if youre gunna get something as permanent as tattoos are you should put alot of thaught in it,because youre gunna have it for a loooooong time, thats why i,ve personally drawn most of my tattoos, all but one ,and thats the only one i dont like, the others I know what they mean and like them because its my art,and nobody likes my art as much as I do ,hahahahahahaha

Well it's best not to rush into getting one...

Take care.

That does seem like an awesome tat. If and when i do get a tat, im going to get a tat on my left wrist of a Jesus fish or cross. not sure yet if i will ever get one, considering my family would kill to know i inked my body in a place where it can be hard to cover. But it will be something i'll think about for awhile before its put on for good!

Any suggestions on some tats that could be used as a witnessing tool????
Just curious what some peoples ideas are.

I have 3 tattoos. One across my back that says Only God Can Judge me. Thats pretty much self explanitory. Then I have one of a cross and my initials above it. Then I just got one a few months ago of Texas! The Texas tattoo I got to represent where im from and pride in being a Texan.

I've thought about getting a red Shy Guy from Super Mario Bros. on my other arm, but I'm afraid of feeling shallow for getting such a commercialized image etched onto me for the rest of my life.

Whether I go through with it or not, I can't deny that it would be really cool, in theory.

NoahsDad:

So you mean NoahsMom wants the neck tattoo? Well, neck is certainly a popular placement for ladies with tattoos, especially the nape of the neck.

In Aramaic: well, that's different and interesting.

I have three. One is a purple bear (right calf) got it right after high school. The other is a Pooh Bear(left calf) got it right before I got married and dh helped me pick it out. Got one in October in Fl with my dad of a wooden cross with two footprints on it. The top footprint is red for my dd's birthstone and the bottom one is green for my son's birthstone. I also am a huge fan of the Footprints In The Sand poem so this has great meaning to me. It is on my back between my shoulder blades. I am currently pregnant with our third child so I will prolly be adding a footprint after it is born.
