here is a dirty little man secret, guys don't hate me, but the real male " confusion" is thinking that we know what we are doing and that our ideas are good and you ladies will like this because we really did think about. we really do THINK about stuff, with the pre-disposed position that we can come up with a good idea and that you will like it, even though we have no clue about it.

I beg to differ my friend.I think women are very subtle.They hint and it totally goes over a mans head.I read an article once,written by a man mind you,that said men are like dogs chasing a ball.Women throw the ball and the man goes running and doesn't realize the ball is hidden behind her back.Now the ones that have been married long enough start to pick up on these subtle hints and they dont go running after the ball.They start looking for signs and listening to what their wives are actually saying.Just a thought ;)

My guess? She felt she wasn't good enough just as she was.Not every woman likes the look of makeup.I have the opposite problem,I dont wear a lot of makeup but I do not go out the door without it. My hubby says "we're going to the grocery do you have to wear makeup"?Yep,cause you never know who you're going to meet,usually somebody from church. I tell him two things we dont do,go out without makeup,go to the store in yoga pants and tennis shoes.

Nah thats not true.You've been watching too many reality tv shows.My husband said that when we first dated and I asked what kind of women he'd been hanging around. Drunk women dont count.I always go out of my way to compliment women when I go out.Shoes,clothes,handbags,hair.If I see something I'd wear or looks good on them I'll tell them,complete strangers.The younger generation may act this way because they haven't learned better.We older women ought to be teaching other young women how to act better and not like the drunk idiots on reality tv.

Lol! Is that why they can be so catty with eachother. My wife works at a daycare and those ladies scare me. I'd have ptsd if I worked there. Haha

I think men get one box down from the shelf in their mind at a time.....open the box, handle its contents, put them back in the box, close the box, put the box back in the shelf, get new box....repeat

women on the other hand have 54 boxes out at a time....it's mental. lol. Just kidding. I love my wife and her ability to multitask and the fact she is cray cray.

I try to encourage women as much as I can. I have self esteem issues so Im careful to make someone elses day.What it all really boils down to is men and women are brought up to communicate differently and act differently.No wonder we dont understand each other.

I understand what you're saying Kaylagirl. Another word that could be used in place of subtle would be indirect. This is not meant as a putdown toward women, for I feel that one of the main reasons many women are this way is because of a defiant, defensive, or hostile reaction they get from a man when they confront a man directly about something sensitive. Any of these reactions can lead a woman to become fearful and evasive in communicating. Therefore...

I would like to encourage men to better their relationship with the woman they love by having a mindset to want their relationship to be the best relationship they can make it, by setting aside pride, utilizing self control, and having a willingness to listen and change through love.

She hates me.....likes me....hates me.......aaaaaaaand stays there.

BTW, She still has a hard time admitting that there is NO SUCH thing as Blue Ladybugs.
......let alone, NINJA Blue ladybugs! :p

In some instances, if a woman has to ask their husband to love them in some way, i.e; going on a date or whatever.....it feels patronizing to them, and....... Nobody wants to be patronized. I know that my wife wants me to take initiative with her because she feels loved when I do.
