I understand what you're saying Kaylagirl. Another word that could be used in place of subtle would be indirect. This is not meant as a putdown toward women, for I feel that one of the main reasons many women are this way is because of a defiant, defensive, or hostile reaction they get from a man when they confront a man directly about something sensitive. Any of these reactions can lead a woman to become fearful and evasive in communicating. Therefore...

I would like to encourage men to better their relationship with the woman they love by having a mindset to want their relationship to be the best relationship they can make it, by setting aside pride, utilizing self control, and having a willingness to listen and change through love.

And too I think women, especially Christian women, are taught not to be direct or say what they are thinking. Its not ladylike or Christian. I myself dont have that affliction as people on here know. :)

In some instances, if a woman has to ask their husband to love them in some way, i.e; going on a date or whatever.....it feels patronizing to them, and....... Nobody wants to be patronized. I know that my wife wants me to take initiative with her because she feels loved when I do.
Aww you sound like a good hubby.Men just have to be properly trained thats all.

With the right woman every man is trainable.I think that is sometimes the problem. We dont go with what we need but take the easy route. My husband has challenged me to mature and let things go and learn to slow down.He didn't even know he was doing it.God puts people in our path I think that confront us with our flaws or weaknesses.Sometimes a friend or spouse or family member. My sisters husband was abusive to her during the first 10yrs of their marriage. He did every thing but hit her.It was awful. He joked to me one day that he married the right sister.I said "oh you did because if you'd have married me you'd be buried under the house right now and I'd be doing life in Attica. He smiled but he got the point. My sister was too weak for him.He needed a woman to tell him it was time to grow up,temper tantrums are for 4yr olds and go get help because Im not taking any more of your foolishness.Evetually he went on pills to help his anger issues but it took 10yrs of my parents cajoling him to do it.

Lol well I grew up in a gossipy town and if you went out not looking your best and met someone from church it would get back to you on Sunday.I think thats why I try so hard to compliment people.Grew up in a judgmental place and it really gave me self esteem issues. So now it feels the same as going out naked if I dont wear makeup and dress up a little. And trust me,aint nobody wants to see this birthday suit!

Oh my yes it does lol I would say I dress up,maybe that wasn't the best description. But I wear jeans and a nice sweater or top.Always do my hair and makeup.I would wear shorts or yoga pants out.But I dont wear heels and pearls either. So I guess really its in between.

No not necessarily. My husband was single a long time so he can cook and clean as well as I can.My father would be helpless without my mother. He cant do anything in the home but hes a great worker and provider.By trainable I mean able to be mature,to treat a woman with respect, and take responsibility for his actions. Not sitting in his parents basement in his underoos playing video games all day.Sometimes it takes a mature woman to help a boy become a man.

So you're saying that a guy that is close with his parents and has a high score on Marble Madness is about as tame as a One Direction fangirl? Is THAT what you're saying??

I'll see myself out now.

Lol. The age old question: Boxers, briefs, or pantaloons?
