Uh..................... The Cross was an instrument of torturous death that the Romans murdered Christ with. It is not an omen to use to protect us from hurricanes... or even vampires.
I was taking it as a sign that God is with us. Not occultism. But, you are right. It was a torture stake. That one the JW's got right.

Couple of cases....you should be like me....I sit on about 3000 bottles of water at all times and keep about 30,000 gallons stashed in tanks ;) I also generate my own power and have 3 back up solar banks and 5 years of food ;) HAHAHAHHAH

AND I keep a water purification system that will do 33,000 gallons before filters need to be changed ;)
Clearly post-trib then

This is a thread about the hurricanes in Florida, not about post trib people and what they're preparing for..

But honestly, if everyone DID prepare as much as Dcon has, we'd all be better off in an emergency situation, rather than running around like beheaded chickens, trying to figure out where to go to get to safety and how to get there..

today, our Heavenly Father gave us an opportunity to witness to someone who desperately
needs to discover/learn, what 'Love thy neighbor' means...we're talking about someone on this
site who 'opened' their home to us, (sight un-seen) by offering us shelter from the storm'...
when we told this person this, they were speechless for a few moments...!

a true-real act of Jesus Love, is this a God-given-Witness', or what?
Love thy neighbor as thyself'...

probably a lot of this kind of thing going on now, but usually, most just won't accept
those of us who just what to Love them as the Law says...

Absolutely and have stated it at least a dozen times....post trib/pre-wrath and regardless......being prepared for any calamity is wise.....see...there is this thin line called civilization which is held together by law.....as the recent riots, burning of cities, cop cars, etc. shows, the law and society can break down at the drop of a hat.......You know....governmental studies have shown that within three days of a catastrophic event a grocery stores are empty, within one week civility breaks down, two weeks people are murdering each other and within 3 weeks cannibalism.......

Regardless of my stance on the coming of Jesus I will always be prepared for any circumstance that is somewhat controllable by being prepared.....

BIBLICAL----> WISE men see evil coming and prepare for it!

It was meant tongue in cheek, since whatever is being discussed ends up in trib, however inappropriate

but your message is very serious I agree

i am impressed by your water facility.

Turkey is one of my favourite meats. Especially the brown meat.
Sounds like you are in a great place given the coming events

Why am I still single? because I don't meet real men. I meet men who push pencils and go home to an xbox.

Good for you DC!

I hope all you Florida folks aren't in the thick of where she may hit.

Yes, my brother built a smoker to smoke meat and we have learned how to can everything and have also freeze dried provisions...
