Psa 32:6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

Marion County has issued a mandatory evacuation for all mobile and modular homes. This is my County, and is central Florida.

Thanks guys. Not leaving. We have people in cabin like homes all around us. We have one family coming tomorrow, and maybe more. Not in a mobile or modular. We have the only two story home in our neighborhood, so might have a houseful.

Willie should of left unless he is in a safe zone. He did say on the coast though.

Some are staying.

You still want to have a lot of water, in case the plumbing goes. (Keep the drinkable water away from the undrinkable water. Then the undrinkable water can be used for flushing toilets.)

(Still praying.)

The weirdest thing about it all is the proximity of September 11.......but just weird , not prophetic.

Silly chick, I don't want you to be fearful but believing He will keep you safe. We just heard our area may have 90 to 110 mph winds. If you aren't safe in your home then a shelter may be best.

We are above you, central Florida too. If you have a concrete home, you are better off. Tape and / board windows.

I'll be with my family in my sister's concrete home. They are evacuating our area for people who live in mobile homes, modular homes and flood prone areas. We're not in a flood prone area thank God. My sisters house is ready. We're prepared and I trust the Lord will keep us safe. Keeping you in my prayers as well.

Thank you so much! :) I heard Pastor Rodney Howard Browne on periscope earlier. He said why would anyone build a home out of wood in Florida. I wondered that myself when I saw how even treated wood isn't all that safe from insects.

Glad to know you will be safer with your sister.

Wood is inexpensive, concrete and brick is very expensive. Building a home out of concrete and brick would drive the average home cost beyond the means of most.

I also heard that a lot of homes in Miami are made of concrete, and the evacuations will cause those on I 75 to be stuck on the highway, and the hurricane shifting puts them right back in the path, That those in the concrete homes, should of holed up.

Lots of things being said.

I didnt know the difference in cost between the two types. So thanks oncefallen.

And our home is wood of course. Lol.
