What are your thoughts on this?

I am not sure if I have a wrong attitude that isn't very Godly at the moment or not. Was wanting to get some other thoughts on this to see where I might be. As a daughter of God it is my duty to reach out to others. There are a few ladies that want to be my friend. One says she is saved and is a single mother of 3 and the other is a lady that is single and older and alone here. I do not know why but something inside of me keeps shutting down both friendships. I have had coffee dates with the mother of 3 a few times and found a reason to cancel both. I have no idea why. Same thing with the other lady, she has wanted to hang out on the beach but it just doesn't happen. Am I spiritually wrong here? It bothers me but I cant seem to make myself become friends with either of these women. I wonder if something is wrong with me or if it is simply the Holy Spirit saying no. Confused.

lMy best friend now of 23 years was someone I did not want to hang around at first, I prayed eveyrday for the Lord to send someone to minister to. She came in with her boyfriend where i work . The Lord put it on my
heart 3 times before i ministered to her. I thought to myself, i dont want to hang around her.
She started coming to our church, got baptised with the Holy Spirit, completely turned around her life
The Lord knew her life before was awful her brothers abused her ect, now she is the most wonderful
christian i have ever seen. She reminds me of jacob, We dont know what they have been through,
but the lord does, mabe he wants you to minister to them too

I think prayer is the best order, iambekah, and then, yes, like, themombom says, eithee God is having you minister to one, or, both of these single ladies, because you have a sweet spirit and,noticable take on God's life for you, or, vice versa, God wants you to be encouraged. The Lord leads. I would go through one or both of these 'doors' and see where you are led by Him from there as you walk in Him, Spirit led, milady
May the hope of your being in life be to follow His great life for you, for He is your Way, your Truth, and, your.......

....Life.

Note: I think these two ladies can provide wisdom , too, for your daughter, it is a win-win

I just met the one older single lady at the beach a bit ago. She is so full of rage and darkness. She was telling me how she was going to be getting SSI by proving that she is crazy......so maybe perhaps God is the one that is putting up the resistance within me. lol I once read something that was totally true....listen to that inside voice and your instincts. The first thing she came off saying when I met her at the beach was how I was my man's maid because I couldn't give her my whole day. sooooo.....warning bells a'ringing.

I have a very street smart mate. Because I have a soft and tender heart I tend to come off as prey. That is where my mate steps in and usually protects me. I guess I tried to bring home a meth head. He looked hungry. I wanted to feed him and his dog. My guy identified to me that this person was hooked on meth and would see what we had of value and chances are he would come back and rob us. My guy put his foot down about me not being friends with the single older lady after meeting her when we bought a antique furniture set. I need to trust in his street smarts because I have about 0 sometimes lol.

You know God's voice, trust in this.
Pray always, for we know God always hears us, even though we may sometimes have a hard time hearing Him.

tacoman chances are if you are on this website God brought you here to enlighten your heart, mind, spirit and soul sweetie. I think he is working on showing you just how very real he is. Trust me once he gets ahold of you and shows you who he is and just how very real he is.....he is going to blow your ever loving mind and change your world and the way you view it forever and ever. Oh and what a totally delightful beautiful ride of a life time it is and becomes to. To find and be found by our God will rock your ever loving world. Really finding him is flipping amazing man. Seek him with your whole heart, mind, and soul and you WILL find him. That is a promise.

thanks lucy. Yeah I agree about bringing them home. This world is full of crazies for sure. I have since learned what is ok and what is not ok to do in our relationship. Bringing home meth heads is NOT ok haha.
