IMHO reconciliation is good.

Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

There is also this, which seems to put the shoe on the other's foot:

Matthew 5:23-24 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against
you, leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

Funny, you mention that, I have found that if one develops the discipline one can scroll past the post, it took me a while but yes it works too!
I can resist and drop an entire thread, but sometimes that takes a little while. Although, some people post things here that consistently have gotten under my skin or outraged me, and I got tired of that emotional response over and over. Better to put them on 'ignore' than sin against God and them by letting them have it.

I've tried that here. Doesn't always work. Was told once that they don't need to apologize. In fact, I'd never seen this one individual apologize to anyone about anything. He is blocked, probably until we all meet in Heaven.

Why be offended by a red X. I thought it only means you disagree with the post.
Does not bother me at all.
It’s just that the red x on ANY post that someone post that that person that left the red x left on the post no matter what Is posted IMO means more than I disagree with what you wrote,I think It’s more of a I don’t like you and nothing you say will be agreed with.

I wish that when I put someone on Ignore that I can't even see an emoji that they might leave on my post.
If I put 'em on Ignore, then I can't read their foolishness, unless I decide to temporarily make it visible. That works nicely for me.

But they can Still leave an emoji on your post that you Will see Even If you have them on Ignore.

I should suggest In the suggestion forum that If someone Is placed on Ignore that they can’t even leave an emoji on your post that Is visible to the person that has them on Ignore.

Have you ever had someone leave an x on every post you make that you see even If they are on Ignore It gets annoying.

But I see what you mean.I disagree Would be better than the red x.
