In the uk we have a lot of folklore stories about dragons but they were called
giant worms in our tales. Which may actually be more accurate if there were
a few almost extinct large lizards around.
I was fascinated with them as a child.

I suppose the most famous is St George and the Dragon.
Its interesting how the dragon stories can be found in many countries.
Dont forget many animals have become extinct that we actually know of.
Like the do do and saber tooth tiger, plus woolly mammoth.
Is it so far fetched to think maybe some kind of dinosaur was around
after the ark. They gradually got killed off or only the smaller ones survived
for a bit longer before extinction.
