Water baptism is not for salvation. That is what he meant.
Repentance is certainly for today. Repentance is what makes one ready for salvation.
And no, Paul did not preach the Same Gospel which Jesus and Peter preached. Jesus and His 12 apostles preached the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt. 4:23 & Matt. 9:35) to the Nation of Israel.
The Gospel which was revealed to Paul by the Lord Jesus Christ was the Gospel of the Grace of God (Acts 20:24 & 1 Cor. 15:1-4).
And no the brother who preached the message in the video of the O.P. did not at all say to toss out all the rest of the books of the Bible. All that brother was teaching was that when you read the other books of the Bible, you must read them in the light of Pauline revelation which is revealed in the Pauline Epistles to the Church.
To start off with repentance is for us, and he said he does not teach repentance for that is not for us.
Second water baptism (baptizo) is a direct command from the Lord in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16, and is part of being reborn into Christ. Peter makes it evident that was His command in Acts 2:38 and Acts 10:47, as Peter says in chapter 10 no man can forbid water for people to be baptized. If you take away His commands then that is directly being disobedient to God, as the Lord said His words are not His but are the Fathers.....
Paul did not teach another gospel, that is false and biblical heresy.
All Paul did was give more meat of the same gospel, as he listed out multiple times what born again believers can not have as part of their life and what things they are to have in their life...... They all preached salvation through the Lord given by God's grace. I would ask you get away from that false Paulinian doctrine that has been rebuked for years because of its falsehood.
What the Lord Jesus said in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John was not just for the Jews, that is completely false and you can find a scripture in Paul's epistles that completely confirm every single thing the Lord said.......
And yes he did pretty much cancel out all the other books as he said there may be some truths in them, but no books are for us except Paul's epistles.......
I suggest that if you believe this man, you better go listen to what he said closer.....Then go and read what the Lord said, and then go read Paul's epistles as you will find that Paul did not cancel anything out that the Lord said. The other thing is that it has been well known by biblical scholars that the book to the Hebrews was written by an understudy of Paul.
Lord Jesus never once said that His teachings were just for Israel, that is false exegesis and leads to false doctrine.
As the Lord said His teachings were for all the nations of the world............
Matthew 28:16-20
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
