I'm not saying these observations fit all situations, but this is what I've observed.
Beware of super spiritual church people. I'm talking people that are just way way over the top. These people tend to be emotionally disturbed and over compensating for some other area in their life they are lacking. They may fail miserably in one area of their life morally, so they over compensate by being over, over, over the top spiritually. If someone seems too good to be true, chances are, they are too good to be true.
Beware of people that are overly obsessed with end times, visions, prophecy and the 'super natural'. If the main thing to them isn't the main thing, then once again, they're outta balance.
I know we all want to meet that ideal, 'strong Christian', but if you're not careful you could get stuck with a nut-job. At first glance these 'super spiritual' people look like that ideal person you want. But once you date them, you soon realize you'd rather talk about more than their latest theory on end times or their continual 'revelations' they received in prayer.
Just my two cents of course.
