ozell, I pondered this more and saw how this may all be about How God chooses us to see.
For scripture says, some are called to serve through mercy, understanding, thus making a differance.
Some are called to serve through rightousness, thus pulling from the fire, despising the flesh that clings.
For with God all things are possible.
Jesus said, I do not give as the world gives.
Some are to see the comandments as the requirements of God's love.
So as to save from the fire.
Some, like me, see the commandments as God's gift of love.
Like the parent who gives these rules to keep their child from falling, or being consumed by evil.
The thing is, the result is the same, saving us through His comandments, and providing to us the means and way(Jesus) to do so, even if we sometimes fail.
Like the parent who is ready to save you from your own destruction.
I will always see in Jesus, God Our Fathers love as unconditional, simply because from our very creation to His commandments. all as His loving gift.
But I am willing as well to look through your eyes, seeing His commandments as a requirement of His love.
Not nessasarily because I agree, but because with God, all things are possible.
May we always give all things unto the Lord, for He is the way, truth and light we seek and love .
Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh!
God bless
