Hi.
I was once told that there was a man who prayed to Jesus and that very much angered Him at the time.
Does anyone know of the verse that this occurred and perhaps any context of why Jesus didn't want such authority?
Ever since I was scolded on the relationship I had with Christ, I've felt a great disconnection.
Like I can no longer speak to Him or feel His presence anymore with me.
In a single moment, He just suddenly left in my heart and in my mind.
All that remained afterwards was only my faith.
I've been missing what I had with Him and I would very much like it back again.
Please and thank you.

Who is trying to destroy your love, faith and hope.
He has many methods.
Fear, pain, suffering, people attacking us "without reason", sickness and injury, spiritual or physical, can hurt us.
These are the things that the one without love uses against us,
to try to turn us cold, try to make our love for God die.
The cruelties and separations of this life are many, and painful.
They are the reality of this life, some day they will overcome our bodies and we will die.
--
But we don't have to let the things of this world overcome our spirits and we cannot allow it.
Our spirits groan to be redeemed from this world and that day will come, Jesus knows when.
And remember, it is not by our power or strength that is the victory, but Christ's, and He has already struck Satan's head.
---
Remember our Fathers, the men of faith, what they went through,
Are just a few words, spoken by one with the spirit of Satan enough to make you lose faith?
Maybe Satan knew just what to say, to break your heart, your soul.
Just a few fiery darts at the heart, where was your shield of faith?
The knowledge that He is your personal Savior, and no one, or nothing, can take that away.
It is the most prized possession of your soul.
Keep it deep inside your heart, at the center, where no one can touch it, your faith in Jesus.
--
Don't let the cruelty of words break your spirit, your faith.
Listen to the other words, the words of the Book, the words of Jesus.
They are the words that you should listen to, hear the most.
Can you hear His words in your heart? God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever (that's us).
--
We hear the words of the world all the time,
But it's the words of God's love in our hearts that we should hear the loudest.
Fill your mind and heart with His words, and listen to HIm.
