Nah T_Laurich ur fine Bro.
No judgments here.
Although it's disappointing to see Good Christian brothers and sisters who I value and respect engaging in what would appear to be worldly-like humor.
I mean yes we may feel as though we all know one another here as family but even then, as a light to the world I rather encourage one another to practice the light of the Lord with our brothers and sisters first and foremost.
For example, we shouldn't just be a light to the world yet engage in what may be coarse joking with someone that knows us well just because we feel comfortable with them.
I apologize for ruining anybodies fun especially you Grace, cuz I know you was just playin.
It's more that when I see things such prenups entering Christian communities and midsets, its just another avenue of the world creeping in.
Perhaps joking about it is ones way of dealing with an uncomfortable subject which I can relate to and understand, although the marriage covenant is a sacred thing to God as it mirrors his covenant and relationship with us as his church.
Please don't mock that, especially if one has never been married and doesn't understand all that is involved from the spiritual aspect.
But ya see, a prenup is more planning ones divorce based on what if scenarios rooted in fear of giving in to the enemy.
what if this and what if that.
More like planning for failure rather than success.
When one gets married it should be for the reason of living in the moment of enjoying one anothers company, planning nice vacations for the future if anything rather than planning who get's what in the event a Rship dissolves.
Any fear can manifest itself through actions to predestine the unwanted outcome.
It's saddening to me when I see worldy joking is given a chance to creep into our lives as if having to feel like we must seek some form of entertainment away from God.
Especially terms like Jesus juking as if now Jesus is a derogatory term and one should be able to remove Christ from any part of their life in order to have "fun."
Jesus would have been the biggest Jesus juker of them all, so go ahead and mock.
But I hold to my own convictions.
I pray that we can look at the examples of those we read about in God's Holy Word to pattern our lives after and see we never read about Jesus and the Apostles sitting around the campfire telling jokes, or playing pull my finger.
Wit is good, humor is good, yet sarcasm isn't quite as good since it may be funny seeing it on TV or happening to others, but not when it's happening to you right?
As humans in the flesh our humor and what we find funny or entertaining can be vastly different from the spirit.
Perhaps look at God's humor to be able to understand.
Sorry if I upset anybody.
