This title seems to get people saying the teaching is false. Yet the Gospel is prosperous by definition (Prosper-a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, to thrive, succeed, etc, or cause to thrive, succeed). If we listen to people telling you that prosperity is all about material wealth then you are listening to a misguided person because God want us to prosper in Him first and that is according to our faith in a relationship with him. This however does not mean you will be rich in earthly materials. That is the worlds way to define who is prosperous. Therefore next time you hear prosperity mentioned with the gospel find out what a person means. Matt 6:33 says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Also the favor of God in your live is greater than any amount of money you can ever have.
