Would yougo for implants such as RFID chips. Or other human enhancement biochips?
Good question now the technology has gone past the testing stages and will be available relatively soon I should have thought.
My answer is no for me for more then one reason. I'm more of a traditionalist. For me to go modern these days... I can't be bothered!
Then there comes the tatoo issue. One has one installed to find it quickly becomes obsolete with advancements and one has an obsolete gadget in ones body one can't remove.
Then one adds to why one would want to be tracked wherever one went? We already have had our freedoms eroded already so why would we volunteer to be tracked unless I was stupid!
Consider this. One of the easiest ways to steal funds today is via contactless payment cards. Now consider having one in ones hand or body? That is what is being proposed!
Another point is that I for one hate needles!
And we have the scriptural warnings. While this may or may not be what is warned about in the scriptures... I'd rather not tempt fate and spend an eternity in hell for the installation of some device I dont need and can do without.
It is like people say to me why I dont have internet on a phone. I have to ask "Why?" If I want internet I go on a computer or tablet. If I want to phone someone I will use a phone. Now having the mini computer advancement of the old chip implant idea on my arm or hand is not really a practical advantage. I'd say it is rather like a 40 bladed Swiss army knife. Very novel and a nice toy, but if you have worked on a farm or somewhere where you have need of it, all the extra things it can do get in the way and become a curse rather then a blessing. They are also more likely to act up and go wrong then a simple single knife for cutting baling twine. It isn't the quality. It is the complication of it.
Hope this answers a few aspects.
