I keep telling you, I DO BELIEVE. I DO expect to be healed because I KNOW he can heal me IF he WANTS to. I've been handicapped since age 5, do the math. That's 40 years ago, so where's my healing? It shouldn't have to take an entire lifetime for God to heal someone..
Now, for me to say I expect God to heal me, only if He so desires to is not expectation. It is me fully believing He has the capability to heal, but it is not me expecting He will heal me. Its an acknowledgement of His ability to heal, but not His willingness. As you said, "IF he WANTS to." There is a matter of doubt there, and disbelief because it is stating that a person doesn't know if its God's will to heal and therefore I hope, not expect, God heals me. Do you see it?
I am only stressing this so you can see it plainly. If we do not know if it is God's will to heal us, we can only hope that He does. VVe cannot expect Him to heal us if we do not know His will in regards to healing, we can only hope He heals us because we know He has the capability to do so. In other words, you do not expect God to heal you, but you hope He does because you know He is fully capable. VVhich is praiseworthy, you believe that God indeed did do the acts in His word He claims to have done. He is not a liar and you agree!
VVhat we need to fully grasp is that it is God's will to heal us, as it is His will to save every soul. Only it takes belief on the part of the sinner as it takes belief on the part of the sick (in order to be healed). Jesus paid, not only for our salvation, but also too the healing of our diseases. I need to fully believe this, not only that God can heal me if He so wills, but that He does will that I be healed through Christ. In this revelation that it is His will to heal me because of Jesus I can fully expect to be healed. Not hope, but actually believe unto a healing in the natural.
I pray that His will is revealed to you blue_ladybug so that you experience the healing Jesus purchased for you. In Jesus name, amen.
