I totally agree. Kale is horrid.
Tonight was a fish fry. Alaskan pollack dipped in an egg and dill dressing (with live cultures - bought at a farmer's market, used as a last-minute whim), then in seasoned flour (S & P, garlic, paprika, dry mustard, dill again), steamed organic green beans which I cooked too long, pasta with a lil' olive oil and butter and garlic.
It was delicious! ...except for the mushy green beans. The kids ate everything, so that's always a win.
