No, I do not speak other languages. I know enough French to keep from ordering an escargot.

And, really? If you like butter, garlic, and mushrooms, you'll like the taste, and feel, of escargot! They're yummy!
And to prove to you I know good food, hossenfeffer and is close to the same thing as squirrel stew, sunnies are better than bass, but perch are better than sunnies. And catfish? In a class all by itself! Pheasant doesn't come under glass. It comes by the end of a rifle. Quail is good, but only if you can get someone else to pluck them. Young geese and wild turkeys are good eats, but old ones aren't. Not. Ever. On Groundhog. And whereas venison steak is deelish, don't ever make me eat deer ribs again. No meat!
BTW, what's your take on frog legs? Don't they taste like saltless chicken? Ever have snapper soup from a 25-30 pound snapping turtle?
I grew up on Dad's hunting and fishing, but he also taught me escargot is good eats!
