i have read about the muslims' love for memorization...there are actually millions of muslims called 'huffaz' who have memorized the entire quran and they can recite the whole thing or any part of it from memory...a hafiz can even recite every verse of the quran that contains a specific word...like a human concordance...

the bible is about ten times longer than the quran...i was wondering if any muslims who convert to christianity have tried to do that kind of memorization with the bible or some books from the bible?

The question is: which Bible to memorize from?
There are SO many versions/translations, but there's only ONE Qur'an

It's all 'the washing of water by the Word' (Ephesians 5.26).

What difference does it make? There are few people that have a photographic memory, but if they do not understand what it is they have memorized, what good is it? If you are not one of the sheep to begin with, you cannot become one by making a decision. Christ made it clear that you do not choose Him, He chooses you.

one reason for quran to be memorized easily is because of its rhythmic nature and also because Allah has made it easy to memorize :)
Allah says in Quran:
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?

54:17]
