What did Gamaliel tell the big wigs at the Sanhedrin? "Be CAREFUL! If this is of God, you might find yourself fighting against God. If it isn't, it will all fail anyway."

We are told little things like this in the Bible for a reason.
True we are told of things big and little in the Scriptures. I like this one
John2:13 The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.14 And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables.15 And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;16 and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a [a]place of business.”17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house will consume me.”

you are getting ridiculous now

please point out the book of Gamaliel in the NT...and while you are trying to find it, maybe read some of the warnings given by Jesus regarding deception

thank God, we CAN actually know what is the will of God and we CAN recognize the doctrines of demons and false teachers and prophets

if a person can't, that could be a result of accepting too much of what is false

no one can stop you from thinking or believing whatever you wish, but you cannot be serious in saying we cannot know what is and what is not of God because if you actually think that, you have ignored a very large portion of scripture

basically I'm done with these silly presentations you are making

they are musings of your own imaginations and you are free to follow them around as much as you like

thankfully, I am pretty sure most of us know better

I guess if someone else wants to bite your bait they can, but it seems you have a real big can of whatever it is you are tossing out there and it really isn't edible

I didn't know they were selling decks of card there at the church. Yeah, they probably should quit doing that. I thought they felt they were just ministering with them.

Are you talking about this?

Do you really have doubts as to whether God approves of this or not?

Acts 19:
19) Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

"Destiny Reading Cards" are along the same line as tea leaves, palm reading, Ouija boards, and other "curious arts".
it seems that he does

he may be a fan of Bethel and think I posted the op to insult those who are

in actuality, I was really taken aback that things have got this bad

apparently, some do think anything goes and we can never be certain

it's like the book of Judges with everyone doing what is right in their own eyes only with the occult taking center stage

You should be old enough to know to be extra wary of any article that tells you what "They" and "Them" are thinking and doing. All you are getting fed to you is the accuser's own mindset.
Google "Christalignment" and "destiny reading cards".

Neither of those are of God.

Bethel should not be involved with either one.

If they're not, great.

thing is, Bethel is already involved up to their eyeballs in what they should never have been involved in

false teachers and prophets seem to never apologize...they just go on to something new and even more ear tickling

Good grief, Willie....
What did Paul use to minister to the Greeks at Athens? He discussed THEIR gods, and THEIR statues, and THEIR Philosophers, and their poets, and THEIR worshiping..... in order to lead them to The God. AND, he did not damn any of what they were doing. He, instead, used the very things they were practicing, in order to, in a complimentary way, show them Jesus.

He discussed them, he did not minister to them with their pagan practices, or use their pagan practices.

A Christian church should not be using pagan or occult practices to bring people to Jesus.

I'm very surprised you're defending this, Willie.

No more comments on this from me.

Willie honestly this stuff is scary. I was involved in the occult before I was called by God . It was not a passing curiosity. I had a tarot deck crystals and a some books on spells. It’s was a time that I don’t talk much about. The stuff I see presented in the story and at the churches book store is not just reminiscent of those things I was involved in . It is the same . Down to some of the smaller details. Yea I am upset about what I see . I am very afraid that this stuff will lead many astray or even worse. This stuff taps in to a persons emotions and clouds their judgment. No matter how happy someone feels at first under it all is a darkness that just devours .

Acts 17:16-23 (NIV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this babbler trying to say?” Others remarked, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?

[SUP]20 [/SUP]You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.”

[SUP]21 [/SUP](All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.)[SUP]

22 [/SUP]Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.

[SUP]23 [/SUP]For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.

What's the point of comparing apples with oranges? Paul was addressing heathen Greeks. This thread is addressing a so-called Christian church dabbling in the occult as reported by others. This is not the first time this church has been shown to be off the rails.

The very first post to me seven, post # 61...you made it personal.

I've said I don't endorse this. Final statement.

What is majorly interesting and telling about this thread is you don't have to be anything like the OP has posted in order to be on the "bad list". You don't even have to suck graves. You can just be Christians who don't agree with some here and you will be vehemently spoken against.,warned about and accused exactly the same as the people falling down and looking palsied on the floor in the video posted on this thread.

For that reason alone I would recommend you do your own research and not judge based on threads like this.

Aren't you basically saying that when this "imparting" was done in the Bible, they were receiving a satanic spirit? If you say, "No, they were getting God's will", then how is it an automatic assumption that the same thing cannot possibly be happening today?

Personally, I'm not into any of that stuff, but neither can I just arbitrarily condemn it.
You 'say' yer not into that stuff & don't arbitrarily condemn it, then arbitrarily condemn the sites that openly expose the heresy.
Hmmm...

who is judging you LOL?

nobody

this thread is not about you...but you sure inserted yourself

why are calling this unbiblical thing a ministry?
Why indeed.
Delusion blinds people that get "sucked into it".
Ironic, isn't it?

No, I feel disgust for people who create websites just to mock others, and run them down for their beliefs. That seems to be their only function in life. I never see those sites glorifying God.... they seem to only exist for hatred of others.

S2M,
Do you even know where the idea of that "Imparting" comes from?
